Having shaken three times, countless hosts of wrathful ones resembling themselves emanated from the gaps in their hair, driving away to the far shore of the outer ocean all enemies, obstructors, curses that harm and injure us, the patrons, offerings, and protectors; phurba, abortions caused by gods and demons, great disasters, misfortunes; nightmares, ill omens, bad signs, premature death, calamities, oath-breakers, and so on. In short, all harm was scattered by the wrathful ones like bird feathers or dark clouds scattered by the wind. The wrathful ones gathered together slightly, and in the middle appeared a volcano, a stone wall, a vajra, a jewel, a lotus, a sword, and a wheel-tent. Inside it, many black wrathful ones faced outwards, becoming a tent resounding with the sound of reversing the mind, "di ri ri." Inside it, many white wrathful ones held longevity vases, becoming a tent resounding with the protective mantra "di ri ri."
