The five-colored silk, the reality of the five wisdoms. The mirror blazing with light, the radiance of the Wrathful King. The turquoise amulet, the life of the Wrathful King. The small bell, the speech of the appearing Wrathful King. The upright and unmoving body of the Wrathful King. The emptiness, free from elaboration, the nature of reality, the sphere of Dharma. The unchanging nature of reality, with life firm in the sphere. With this auspicious life arrow, the eagle feather, hook life from above, below, and all directions. May the fortunate one's life and glory increase. Hrih! This auspicious, precious life arrow mirror. The noble ones have blessed it as a life-sustaining arrow. By entrusting it to you, the fortunate one, today, may it scatter the obstacles to the lives of others like dust. Thus, it is placed in the hand. Just as it was blessed as an object of increase, through the empowerment of the cemetery granted to you, the disciple, by me, the Vajra Master, may you gain mastery over the indestructible victory banner, the unchanging life force, and a life equal to the sun and moon. Darva increases life; may the life of Vajrasattva be perfectly accomplished, may the continuum of suffering and death be cut off, and may that supreme empowerment also increase life. Apratihatābhiṣiñcāmi. (Tibetan: ཨ་པྲ་ཏི་ཧ་ཏ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་མཱི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अप्रतिहत अभिषिञ्चामि, Sanskrit Romanization: apratighata abhiṣiñcāmi, Literal Chinese meaning: Unobstructed, I anoint.) Just as the Fully and Perfectly Enlightened Buddha of the past, when the householder De offered vermillion cinnabar, was blessed as an object of auspicious life increase, through the empowerment of cinnabar granted to you, the disciple, by me, the Vajra Master, may you gain and possess the indestructible victory banner, the unchanging life force, and a life equal to the sun and moon. Red cinnabar is the nature of power; may all phenomena be brought under control, may the kingdom of Dharma be firmly established, and may that supreme empowerment also increase life and power. Just as the Fully and Perfectly Enlightened Buddha of the past, when the son of the earth-protecting elephant offered ghee, was blessed as an object of auspicious life increase, through the empowerment of ghee granted to you, the disciple, by me, the Vajra Master, may you gain and possess the indestructible victory banner, the unchanging life force, and a life equal to the sun and moon, and may you be liberated from the four hundred and four diseases. Ghee destroys the three poisons and is a medicine for diseases; may the supreme and pure medicine realize the nature of Dharma, may there be no suffering from afflictions, and may that supreme empowerment also increase life. The bilva is the Dharma with causes, conditions, and results; it possesses all the actions that transcend the world; may the essence of bodhichitta be supremely pure.
