Within the bright, red lotus heart that has opened, inside the slightly opened reliquary of the sun and moon, Guru Padmasambhava and his consort reside. At their hearts, the life seeds reside: the white Ā (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Literal Meaning: A), the green Ṭha (Tibetan: ཐ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ठ, Sanskrit Romanization: ṭha, Literal Meaning: Tha), and the red Hrīḥ (Tibetan: ཧྲི, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Meaning: Hrih). All phenomena of samsara and nirvana dissolve into light and merge. The reliquary closes, the lotus closes. The seal of the single bindu, the seal of the two, method and wisdom, the seal of the three, body, speech, and mind, the seal of the four, the four immeasurables, the seal of the five, the five Buddha families, the seal of the six, the six Thubpas, the seal of the seven, the seven Buddhas, the seal of the eight, the eight liberations, the seal of the nine, the nine vehicles. Through relying on the three seals of body, speech, and mind established in sequence, may you possess the supreme empowerment that has attained the unfailing victory banner, the unchanging life-tree, a body as solid as a vajra rock, and a life equal to the sun and moon. Thus, holding the vajra and bell, place them at the three places. Having thus received the profound and extensive life empowerment, the conclusion is to recite mantras and offer auspicious prayers. Unstained and immaculate deity of the Padma family, Immortal Lord of Life Amitabha, Lord of Compassion Avalokiteshvara, Lotus-born Vajradhara Vidyadhara, deity of life, I prostrate, offer, and praise the assembly of deities, the compassionate manifestations of the Sugatas, grant the accomplishment of life. I ask the deities to forgive all faults, please return to your respective abodes, or remain comfortably in the supports. May all the goodness of the mundane and supramundane increase more and more, may there be auspiciousness. May the container and its contents dissolve into themselves, and also become invisible.
