A Bodhisattva who has attained [the path] sees a hundred Buddhas in a single instant. The second bhumi sees a thousand, the third sees ten thousand, the fourth sees a hundred thousand, the fifth sees a million, the sixth sees a great koti, and the seventh sees a hundred million, and so on, increasing tenfold, the number of Buddhas seen is said to increase. The meaning of these is found in the Sutra of the Ten Bhumis: "In this Extremely Joyful Bhumi, the vision is vast, and through the power of aspiration, many Buddhas appear. Hundreds of thousands of Buddhas, many thousands of Buddhas, and similarly, hundreds of thousands of kotis of nayutas of Buddhas appear. Having seen them, one makes offerings with great aspiration, and serves them with respect. Similarly, one also makes images of their sangha. Those roots of virtue are also dedicated to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. From those Buddhas, one listens to the Dharma, receives it, and holds it in mind. One also diligently practices the Dharma. One also fully matures sentient beings through the four objects of gathering." In accordance with what was said, this incarnation saw countless Buddhas, such as Amitabha. From them, he listened to the Dharma and received empowerments. He held them in his mind and recorded them in writing. First, he mainly practiced terma practices, and later he also mainly practiced those practices. To the best of his ability, he employed the four objects of gathering to ripen and liberate those who were vessels. He also constantly and continuously dedicated the merit of himself and others to enlightenment. If one asks, "If this incarnation is a great Bodhisattva on the bhumis, why have we not seen the transformations of his body that everyone sees, such as emanating a hundred emanations in a single instant, and being able to shake a hundred world realms, and other such miraculous powers?" Je Khachö Wangpo wrote at the end of his autobiography of visions: "There is debate about this. This is a great lie. If there were such visions and knowledge, then any sign of accomplishment should appear, but nothing at all appears. Those who speak and think in this way are distracted by great arguments." Thus, the signs of accomplishment
