Possessing desire, and similarly, even if not corresponding to it, possessing the attainment of desire or the object of increasing desire, therefore, between the two, possessing desire and possessing desire, the first is that both mixed and possessing are possessing desire. The second is all other contaminated things besides that. That is, only truth is possessing desire. Thus, among the two, here it refers to possessing desire. Separation means being separated from both, that is, the uncontaminated mind, they think. Some say that in this sutra, the mind corresponding to desire is possessing desire, and the antidote to desire is said to be separated from desire. If not corresponding to desire is separated from desire, then the mind corresponding to other afflictions such as hatred should also be separated from desire. Since not corresponding to desire, it is not said to be separated from desire, because there will appear possessing hatred and possessing ignorance, etc. The Vaibhashikas say that if this is the case, then the non-afflictive mind, uncovered and unindicated, will become neither possessing desire nor separated from desire, because in order it does not correspond to desire, nor is it an antidote. Not considering that merely not corresponding to desire is being separated from desire, so corresponding to other afflictions will not become separated from desire either. Therefore, among the two, corresponding and not corresponding possessing desire, it should be known that this sutra speaks of possessing desire. Similarly, one should also understand possessing hatred and possessing ignorance, as well as separation. Concentration and distraction, the Vaibhashikas think that in order, due to corresponding to distraction, the difference between not corresponding and corresponding, the mind concentrates on the object, so it is virtuous and afflictive. The Westerners think that the two are in order corresponding to the affliction of sleep and afflictions other than sleep, so both are afflictive. The Kashmiris say that it is a person

Because if it is like that, the mind itself becomes collected because it corresponds to the sleep of afflictions, and because it is of the nature of afflictions, it will also become distracted, so that these two will become the fault of confusing definitions. Moreover, it is said in the scriptures: The mind is completely collected, and it is thoroughly understood as it is. There are four kinds of wisdom that know it, namely, Dharma-wisdom, Subsequent-wisdom, Conventional-wisdom, and Path-wisdom. This contradicts the scriptures. If it is thought that complete collection corresponds to sleep, then Subsequent-wisdom and Path-wisdom will not take the completely collected mind as their object, because there is no sleep in the upper realms, and although there is sleep in the desire realm, Subsequent-wisdom does not take the desire realm as its object. Path-wisdom only takes the truth of the path as its object, and the truth of the path does not correspond to sleep. Therefore, according to your view, it should be said in the scriptures that there are two kinds of wisdom that know it, namely, Dharma-wisdom and Conventional-wisdom. Because Subsequent-wisdom and Path-wisdom cannot know it. According to us, the completely collected mind is purely virtuous, so there will be no fault of confusing definitions, and it does not contradict the scriptures. Because the completely collected virtuous mind includes both the contaminated included by the three realms and the uncontaminated not included, the uncontaminated wisdom that takes the contaminated virtuous mind of the upper two realms as its object is Subsequent-wisdom, and the virtuous mind included by the truth of the path that takes the uncontaminated as its object is also Path-wisdom, so it is also established as the object of Subsequent-wisdom and Path-wisdom. That's what they say. Similarly, discouragement is afflicted because it corresponds to laziness. Extreme grasping is virtuous because it corresponds to diligence. Small is because it does not correspond to both attachment and aversion, so it corresponds to the two roots of either ignorance or attachment and aversion, and what cannot be accomplished by effort, and the future that is similar to it is not obtained, and there is no accompanying form, so it is accompanied by the consciousness and the three aggregates such as feeling, and even wrong view cannot completely cut off the root of virtue, so it is the root and value and in order
