To those who have transformed and abide in the Vajrayana. Now, a rough explanation of this meaning will be given. Regarding the explanation of the root downfalls, in the Kalachakra mandala, when the complete empowerment is bestowed, it should be spoken after bestowing the lower seven empowerments. Again, offering a mandala to the Guru, beseech the Bhagavan to grant the kindness of bestowing the empowerment upon me. Then, the Guru will say: 'Child, listen. As seen in the conventional truth, the common happiness of all sentient beings, which is the characteristic of the sixteen joys, as stated in the Sri Kalachakra: 'That which generates desire is the mind of beings themselves. That which is full becomes full. From the supreme limb that is full, transforming the rabbit-holder (moon) into semen, the good essence of burning nectar descends. The supreme bliss obtained through intercourse naturally gives, the release of nectar essence ends at three places. The joys associated with deities, touch, and intercourse differentiate joy and so on. Desire brings joy, the initial joy is what people see with their eyes. From the outside, fully combining, again obtaining supreme joy in oneself. In burning, the joy of dripping nectar essence is also different from the vajra-lotus. The three states of intercourse nectar essence are the joy that arises simultaneously, which is the action of the vajra.' The meaning of this passage is the four joys, and each joy can be divided into four aspects: body, speech, mind, and wisdom, thus becoming sixteen joys. To make it easier to understand, I will explain as follows: Listen, child, the meaning of empowerment lies in the characteristic of the sixteen joys. This is the happiness of all sentient beings, existing in common. Lust agitates the mind, and is called the first joy. Through the embrace of the arm of wisdom, the bodhicitta located on the forehead, the state of melting is the second joy. Then, due to the power of sexual love, the fire of desire burns. The dripping of burning nectar essence is the third joy. The final stage of the nectar essence of body, speech, and mind, is the moment of self-awareness, which is the fourth joy. These four joys, distinguished by the nectar essence of body, speech, mind, and wisdom, become sixteen. You must understand this. Externally, they are also distinguished by elements such as the sky, from the first to the fifteenth, and the indivisible sixteenth part.' That is it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sixteen joys of mundane convention (the four joys and sixteen joys of the mundane) are symbolic examples, and what they symbolize is mentioned in the 'Namasangiti': 'The first detachment, great attachment, blazing with various colors, the place of Vajra's perfect enlightenment, the holder of the Dharma spoken by the Buddha.' And 'Possessing all aspects, without aspects, sixteen halves holding bindu.' These transformations of bindus, the ultimate four joys, also divided by the distinctions of body, speech, mind, and wisdom, are the sixteen realities. The third empowerment of mundane convention, wisdom, is merely an example of symbolic wisdom, not ultimate. What it closely symbolizes is the fourth empowerment of wisdom that transcends the world, which is ultimate wisdom, the meaning of reality itself. Therefore, one should aim for the untransformed ultimate bliss, which is free from distraction and unites emptiness and compassion, as the goal. This is the ritual for the third mundane empowerment. Then, in order for the disciple to receive the fourth empowerment that transcends the world, the great seal of supreme immutability, from the guru as the essence of the wisdom vajra nature body on the back of Kalachakra, the disciple should offer a mandala and pray: 'Oṃ ho prajñā upāyo ātmakaṃ vajra sattva mahā mudrā jñāna abhiṣekaṃ me prayaccha oṃ āḥ hūṃ hoḥ phaṭ' (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), recite three times. To bless the wisdom vajra with wisdom again, one should recite prayers such as 'Glorious wisdom vajra holder, practicing the four indestructible vajras, by the wisdom vajra holder,' etc., with transformed words. As before, visualize that the syllable Hūṃ (ཧོཿ,hoḥ,ཧོཿ,hoḥ,joy) at the heart of all Tathagatas emits immeasurable yellow light, entering from the disciple's heart, purifying the defilements of desire, and that the wisdom vajras of all Buddhas bestow blessings. Both the guru and disciple should visualize this. Pray that all Tathagatas of the ten directions bless this disciple's bindu of desire and the cessation of the fourth joy, as well as the completion of co-emergent joy, and swiftly attain the nature body of the wisdom vajra. Pray and play music. Then the guru says: 'Just as the Buddhas of the past, empowered the sons of Bodhisattvas, I empower your mind-stream with the great secret empowerment.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
