However, both the actual and the corresponding truths, unless practiced according to their respective circumstances, it becomes difficult to fulfill all the characteristics. Although it is difficult to accomplish all the great deeds, one should emulate the conduct of the three protectors of the family (Avalokiteśvara, Mañjuśrī, Vajrapāṇi), aspire to take on all the sufferings of others, and constantly strive for this. For the many chosen deities and some stages of yoga that one desires, even with diligent practice, one can only obtain a little blessing, and supreme accomplishments have long since disappeared into the realm of Dharma. In short, although I do not have the supreme qualities of understanding scripture and realization, I have made some contribution to the Buddha's teachings through lecturing and writing. Even if I die now, I feel no regret. All of this is said by mixing my own faults and virtues, for the sake of contemplation and discernment by those with faith. If others see it, please do not laugh. The wisdom, compassion, and power of all refuge objects, concentrated into one, Mañjuśrī, Avalokiteśvara, Vajrapāṇi, these three protectors of the family reside on the crown of my head. Although what I say arbitrarily is difficult to believe, some of it comes from reliable sacred texts, which I will briefly narrate here. The body is impermanent, like a bubble; life is impermanent, like lightning in the sky; breath is impermanent, like mist in the air; mind is impermanent, like a bird on a willow tree; wealth is impermanent, like a bee gathering honey; friends are impermanent, like travelers in a market. Accumulated wealth will eventually be exhausted, gathered friends will eventually separate, elevated status will eventually decline, and all who are born will eventually die. In the future, mountains, lands, and oceans will all be destroyed by fire, water, and wind, and the container world and sentient beings will all be empty, let alone insignificant material things? All compounded things are impermanent, having the nature of arising and ceasing. In hell, the suffering of heat and cold is severe; in the realm of hungry ghosts, the suffering of hunger and thirst is great; in the animal realm, the suffering of being exploited is severe; in the human realm, the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death is great; in the realm of asuras, the suffering of fighting is terrifying; in the realm of gods, the suffering of death and falling exists. The suffering in samsara is beyond words. The Lord of Death is like the shadow of the sun, approaching without stopping for a moment. After death, there is no certainty of where one will be reborn, therefore, practice the Dharma that benefits the next life.

When it's time to go to the next world, Only the Lama, the Three Jewels for refuge, And the virtuous Dharma as companions, No one else can be of help. Therefore, to the Lama and the Three Jewels, Take refuge from the heart at all times, The practice of adopting and abandoning both white and black deeds, Must be carried out properly. If one engages in the two deeds perversely, Because the karmic results themselves are specially killed, Even Lord Buddha is difficult to save, How can others be able to save? From seeds such as wheat, barley, and beans, Their respective fruits are without error. Likewise, from the two white and black deeds, The fruit will arise without error, not from error. Therefore, cherish the principle of cause and effect, Strive to confess all misdeeds, And vow not to do them again in the future, Generate a strong intention to desire vows. Karma and afflictions do not have limbs or anything like that, But through dependent arising in conventional truth, In all the evil realms of samsara, They lead one uncontrollably as they please. Whether one is skilled or not in white and black deeds, All these happy and unhappy realms, The various shapes of the body, inside and out, Arise from the inconceivable dependent arising. In this way, the common karma of beings, And the power of each individual's karma, The arrangement of the environment and beings in general, And the various differences in particular, arise. Although there is no near or far in the two deeds, But the very transformation of the profound dependent arising, From the difference that is determined separately, Both happiness and suffering are determined separately. The main causes and conditions for the arising of samsara and nirvana, Are the basis of ignorance and knowledge. From the cause of ignorance arises samsara, And from knowledge itself, definite good liberation arises. Therefore, with ignorance as the main, The twelve branches of the affliction side, The very order of entering into the cycle of samsara, Having known, one should reverse samsara. Although there are many methods of reversing, But the view of realizing selflessness, Is the only gate to peace, It is the chief of all methods. Even so, relying on what is imputed, Just that I will turn in samsara and liberation, Since there is no independent self, It is said to be free from the extremes of permanence and annihilation. If there is no desire to be liberated from the evil realms, There will be no desire to be liberated from samsara.
