Previously, statements such as "not prophesied to arise simultaneously" refuted the view of some Śrāvakayāna schools that Mahāyāna sūtras are not the words of the Buddha, establishing that Mahāyāna sūtras are the words of the Buddha. It also explained that the Dharma of the Mahāyāna is not the domain of practice for those inclined towards inferiority. In the third chapter, "Universally Going and Acknowledgment" and so on, the distinctions and benefits of taking refuge in the Mahāyāna are explained. In the fourth chapter, "Existence, Excellence, and Characteristics" and so on, the lineages, the signs and divisions of lineages, and the distinctions of lineages are extensively explained. In the fifth chapter, "Great Joy and Great Effort" and so on, the nature, divisions, benefits, causes of Bodhicitta in the Mahāyāna, the ultimate Bodhicitta, the distinctions of the twenty-two Bodhicittas, and the functions of Bodhicitta are explained. In the sixth chapter, "Abode, Composition, and Fruition Arising" and so on, it is explained that by relying on Bodhicitta, one can accomplish extraordinary benefit for others. In the seventh chapter, "Neither Existent nor Non-existent, Thus" and so on, mainly the distinctions of the ultimate truth according to the Mind-Only school are explained, and it is explained that the ultimate truth is difficult to realize, and if not realized, one revolves in samsara, and if realized, one becomes liberated. In the eighth chapter, "Birth and Pure Speech and Mind" and so on, the distinctions of the power of Bodhisattvas to accomplish the benefit of themselves and others are explained. In the ninth chapter, "Joy and Faith" and so on, it is explained that after obtaining such power, the distinctions of maturing disciples are explained. In the tenth chapter, "Hundreds of Thousands of Immeasurable Austerities" and so on, many things are explained, such as how to attain Buddhahood through immeasurable accumulations of merit, examples of the qualities and activities of the Buddha, how one is worthy of refuge, examples of whether or not activities are performed, how activities are effortlessly and spontaneously accomplished, the distinctions of the four bodies, and the divisions and functions of the four wisdoms. In the eleventh chapter, "Born and Unborn, Grasping" and so on, the causes of disbelief and the benefits of faith are explained. In the twelfth chapter, "The Pitaka may be Three or Two" and so on, the divisions, collections, and establishment of the three pitakas, the nature, divisions, and proofs of the two truths, and the differences between the one and three vehicles are explained.

Also, many differences and so on were discussed. In the thirteenth chapter, with phrases such as "After steadfastness is life," the ways in which the Buddha teaches the Dharma to those to be tamed and dispels doubts, as well as the differences and classifications of definitive and provisional sutras, are discussed. In the fourteenth chapter, with phrases such as "For the two with intelligence, there is wrong view," the distinctions between the two types of selflessness, the way to abandon the two obscurations through which path, the way Bodhisattvas cherish sentient beings, and the ways in which they enter samsara for the benefit of sentient beings are discussed. In the fifteenth chapter, with phrases such as "Definitely emerging in countless eons," the ways to meditate on calm abiding and insight are discussed, as well as how, based on that, the paths of joining and seeing/meditation arise, and how one attains enlightenment after perfecting the two accumulations. In the sixteenth chapter, with phrases such as "Just as forests and groves," the three actions of giving and so on, the ways in which the actions of the three doors are completely purified, and how one turns away from the path of the lesser vehicle through that are discussed. In the seventeenth chapter, with phrases such as "Number and its characteristics," the nature, classifications, and numerical certainty of the six perfections and four means of attraction are discussed in detail. A brief summary of the six perfections will be explained below. In the eighteenth chapter, with phrases such as "Excellent and endowed with mind," the ways to make offerings to the Buddha with assemblies of offerings, the characteristics of a virtuous spiritual friend and how to rely on them, the faults of afflictions, and the benefits of meditating on the four immeasurables are discussed. In the nineteenth chapter, with phrases such as "Shame abandons incompatible qualities," the reasons why one must abandon afflictions such as improper attention, a general presentation of the distinctions of Bodhisattva qualities, and many things such as the classifications, ways of meditating, and functions of the factors of enlightenment such as mindfulness are discussed. In the twentieth chapter, with phrases such as "For the sake of one's own body and vows," the qualities of the Bodhisattva's six perfections and so on, and how Bodhisattvas are like the fathers, roots, friends, teachers, preceptors, etc. of sentient beings, as well as many things about other qualities of Bodhisattvas and how they accomplish the benefit of sentient beings are discussed.
