Fourth, there is an expiation entailing forfeiture regarding instigating weaving: when a layperson who is not a relative promises to weave and give it to oneself, one transgresses because of that if one secretly pays wages to the weaver and has the weaver weave a fine fabric that does not accord with the giver's intention. Fifth, there is an expiation entailing forfeiture regarding taking back what has been given: one transgresses because of that if one takes back one's own belongings after having already given them to another bhikshu. Sixth, there is an expiation entailing forfeiture arising from the permanent property: one transgresses because of that due to things like dividing the summer gains too early or putting them away too late. Tenth, there is an expiation entailing forfeiture regarding hoarding: one transgresses because of that if one keeps any of the four medicines beyond their time without using them after having received them. There is a distinction: if one receives medicine in the morning, it lasts until noon; if one receives medicine in the afternoon, it lasts until the end of twilight; the seven-day medicine lasts until the end of seven days; and the lifetime medicine lasts until the end of the illness or recovery, and one transgresses because of that if those times have passed.
