Because it has own-being. For the mind that takes itself as the main object of appearance, the conventional that appears as it appears is the true conventional. And for that kind of mind, what does not appear as it appears is established as the meaning or own-being of the false conventional. Each has its own examples, such as faces, pillars, water, consciousness, and all colors are the first, and images of faces, mirage water, the moon in the water, and images in mirrors are the second. This is like the worldly convention, because in the world, faces, pillars, and water can function as the worldly terms agree, so they are true conventional. But images of faces and mirage water cannot function in that way, so they are established as false conventional. As it is said in the "Two Truths": "Although appearances are similar, their functions differ. The distinction between true and untrue conventional is made by whether they can function or not." And in its self-commentary, it is also said: "Water and mirages are understood as true and untrue." Therefore, although the Consequentialists believe that the distinction between true and false depends on worldly cognition, they do not accept the distinction between true and false conventional in conventional, because they do not accept true conventional. The reason for this is that they do not accept the conventional that appears as it appears. The reason for this is that they believe that if an appearance appears as it appears, it must be the ultimate truth. Fourth, regarding the definition. Ultimate truth, has the characteristic of dharma. You have a reason to be called ultimate truth, because in the view of the ultimate mind, the samadhi of the noble ones, the way it appears and the way it exists are the same, and the meaning is also ultimate, so it is called ultimate truth. Conventional truth, has the characteristic of dharma. You have a reason to be called conventional truth, because in the conventional mind, the self-grasping that grasps itself as true, it is true in nature, but not true in meaning, for this reason it is called conventional truth. Fifth, the two truths are like making different distinctions on one entity, like impermanence. As it is said in the "Explanation of the Mind of Enlightenment": "Not outside of the conventional, is the ultimate truth established,

It is said that conventional truth is emptiness. That emptiness itself is conventional truth. Because if it doesn't exist, it will certainly not arise, just like something made and impermanence. Thus it is said. In the sutra it says: Form is emptiness. Emptiness is form. Form is not different from emptiness. Emptiness is not different from form. Thus it is said. The two truths are not absolutely different entities, because the basis of conventional truth and ultimate truth cannot be the same. The nature of these two is not different, because the sprout and true emptiness must be considered as the same nature, because the sprout itself is empty of truth. Sixth, there is a need, because in the base stage, based on knowing the distinction between the two truths, in the path stage, the practice of the union of the two accumulations arises. Based on that, in the fruition stage, the attainment of the union of the two bodies, Dharmakaya and Rupakaya, arises. As it is said in the Two Truths: Those who know the distinction between the two truths will not be confused about the Buddha's teachings. They will accumulate all the collections and perfectly cross to the other shore. Thus it is said. In the case of suffering, form, etc., becoming the result, the distinctions of the four noble truths have seven aspects: difference in words and meanings, determination of number, order, individual nature, method of practice, and the necessity of practice. First, here, there are four aspects of the truth to be practiced, because there are four truths such as the truth of suffering. Second, these four, having the nature of phenomena, you have a reason to be called by the name of "truth" here, because it is true as seen by the noble ones and untrue as grasped by children, therefore it is called that way. Third, liberation, the main position of the place of acceptance and rejection for those seeking liberation, is determined as the four truths, because the main place to be abandoned is determined as the two, suffering and origin, and the place to be accepted is determined as the two, cessation and path. The cause and effect to be abandoned is determined as the two, suffering and origin. The cause and effect to be accepted is determined as the two, cessation and path. Fourth, there are two orders, namely the order of cause and effect and the order of arising of direct realization. The first exists, because as it appears in the sutra: Cause, action, suffering, and cessation have a sequence.
