There is also a general term. No matter how many individual people there are, there is also a general term for those individual people, called followers, which is just a name. Like gods and humans created by karma, and pillars and vases created by effort, etc., apart from the difference between having or not having consciousness, it seems that they are named based on the aggregation of the base. All beings such as gods and humans are named based on the aggregation of the two, form and mind, or the five aggregates. Pillars and vases, etc., are named based on the aggregation of just the form of the elements and their derivatives. In short, just as a person is named based on the aggregation of parts of the aggregates, and form is named based on the aggregation of limbs or parts, similarly, those parts are also wholes in relation to their own parts, so they are named based on that. Through rational deduction, apply this to all other phenomena, thereby realizing that they are without inherent existence. As it says in the *Compendium Sutra*: 'How I am, know all beings are like that. How all beings are, know all phenomena are like that.' Also, in the *Samadhiraja Sutra*: 'How you understand me, so should you apply that understanding to all with your mind.' Also, as Arya Deva said: 'What is the view of one, is the view of all. What is the emptiness of one, is the emptiness of all.' And: 'One thing is the nature of all things, all things are the nature of one thing. Whoever sees the suchness of one thing, that one sees the suchness of all things.' Therefore, it is said. Furthermore, regarding the meaning of the unerring nature of cause and effect of the phenomena of samsara and nirvana, there are two aspects: the unerring nature of external cause and effect, and the unerring nature of internal cause and effect. First, various seeds such as barley and wheat, and plants and trees, etc., will also produce their respective kinds of fruits without confusion, and it is impossible for them to be produced in a confused manner, this is the unerring nature. Second, as it says in the *Ratnavali*: 'From non-virtue comes all suffering, and likewise all bad migrations. From virtue comes all good migrations, and happiness in all births.' Also, as it says in the *Abhidharmakosha*: 'The various worlds are born from karma.' And in the *Entering the Middle Way*: 'All beings are said to be born from karma.' As it is said, the results produced from internal causes of virtue and non-virtue are good and bad migrations.

In general, regarding the way the two truths and their happiness and suffering arise without confusion. In particular, it is said in the Compendium: "All sentient beings, inferior, intermediate, and superior, arise from ignorance, as spoken by the Sugata." As it says, ignorance is the main cause for accomplishing samsara. "All the doors, methods, and roots of wisdom arise from the supreme Prajnaparamita." As it says, the wisdom that realizes selflessness is the main cause for accomplishing liberation. In short, one must gain certainty that the cause and effect of all pure or samsaric and nirvanic phenomena are not deceptive. As it says in the Root Wisdom: "Because emptiness is possible, everything is possible." And also: "Emptiness by nature is not contradictory, and the appropriateness of action is not contrary to reason." And so on. "There is no nature whatsoever, and this arises dependent on that." And so on. As mentioned above, it is very important to understand emptiness as the meaning of dependent origination. As it says in the Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path: "If one understands the meaning of emptiness, then one sees it as the meaning of dependent origination, and it becomes an aid to generating certainty in karma and its effects." As it says in that very Sutra: "Like illusions, bubbles, dreams, and lightning, and all phenomena are like the moon in water. Sentient beings who die and go to the next world, born from the power of karma, are invisible, but the actions done are not lost, and black and white ripen their fruits accordingly. This gate is good in terms of reasoning, subtle and difficult to see, it is the realm of the Victorious Ones." Therefore. Thus, it is accepted as our own system that the way of cause and effect is not deceptive. And as mentioned above, there are countless meanings such as how that itself becomes emptiness that abandons all extremes. That cause and effect is not like what some former Madhyamikas said, that it is not deceptive to others, but in our own system, we do not accept any distinction of whether it is deceptive or not. Rather, we accept the distinction of cause and effect as our own view. When combining dependent origination and emptiness inseparably, it says in the Three Principal Aspects of the Path: "Seeing appearance as unerring dependent origination, and realizing emptiness as freedom from extremes, as long as these two appear separately, one has not yet realized the secret intention of the Buddha."
