Therefore, if a person can understand the meaning of such dependent arising well, then when he thinks of any dharma like a sprout, he will be convinced that the dharma itself is empty of inherent existence. When he analyzes with reasoning similar to "one is all" and realizes that any dharma has no inherent existence, he will effortlessly understand that the way that dharma exists in name is merely a dependent arising established by conceptual thought. These are all ways of eliminating the extreme of existence with appearance and eliminating the extreme of non-existence with emptiness. And, secondly, in the case of generating pure experience, the way of eliminating the extreme of existence with appearance, etc. When a yogi who has experience of emptiness in meditative equipoise arises from meditative equipoise, when he sees Mount Sumeru, houses, etc., Mount Sumeru and other things appear to be without inherent existence, which is the way of eliminating the extreme of existence with appearance. And while appearing as emptiness, everything that appears appears to be merely established by conceptual thought, which is the way of eliminating the extreme of name with emptiness. The Svatantrika Madhyamikas believe that all dharmas are dependently arisen, therefore they are empty of ultimate truth, but the meaning of dependent arising is very different. As mentioned above, eliminating the extreme of existence with appearance, etc., is a characteristic of the Prasangikas. As it is said, this point is very important. The Fifth Dalai Lama also said in the commentary on the Concise Stages of the Path: Furthermore, the way that any wise person obtains certainty in the Madhyamika view that is free from the two extremes is: appearance is dependent arising, and with the reason that it is not deceptive, it eliminates the extreme of permanence of inherent existence, that is, it prevents; with inherent emptiness, it eliminates the extreme of annihilation of non-existence in name, that is, it is able to prevent. As it is said, the meaning is the same as before. It is necessary to know how emptiness becomes cause and effect. The dharmas of samsara and nirvana rely on cause to produce effect, and the way that it is not deceptive is acknowledged in our own system. Just because of this, it becomes emptiness that abandons all extremes, etc., there are countless ways. Most of the meaning of what is said is contained in the previous statements. Emptiness becomes cause and effect, in the Concise Stages of the Path it says: If you know the way that emptiness becomes cause and effect. The meaning is the same. That is, inherent existence

It is very reasonable that the result arises from the cause that is empty of inherent existence. As the Protector Nagarjuna said in the Commentary on the Mind: "Having known that all phenomena are empty, whatever depends on cause and effect, this is more wonderful than wonder, this is more marvelous than marvel." And in the Praise of Dependent Arising: "These are all empty of essence, and from this, this result arises." and so on. The glorious Chandrakirti also said: "Empty things, such as reflections, etc., which depend on aggregates, are not unmanifested either. Just as from the emptiness of that reflection, etc., the appearance of that consciousness can arise, likewise, although all things are empty, they can arise completely from emptiness." He said. In his commentary, it says: "Empty things, that is, reflections, etc." From "From a false reflection arises a consciousness with a false appearance, just as all things, although empty of being established by their own characteristics, from those empty causes, those empty results will arise completely." As it is said. Just as a face appears in a reflection but is not established there, the two are similar in that the objects of cause and effect appear to be established by their own nature but are not established there. In the commentary itself, it says: "Like a reflection that is empty of a face, it appears as if it is doing this much of the appearing part, and it is not possible to distinguish in every way that this much does not appear as a face. Although the part that appears as a face is empty as if it appears from all aspects, it is not contradictory that the result arises depending on its own cause." Taking this as an example. Similarly, when blue appears to be established by its own characteristics, the two parts of appearing and not appearing to be established by nature on top of blue appear indivisibly. The way it appears is also empty as if it appears from all aspects of the appearing part, but it is asserted that it is not contradictory for one's own cause to produce one's own result. Therefore, since it does not exist by its own essence, it is free from all extremes of existence, and because it is possible to establish cause and effect without inherent existence in it, it seems to be a special characteristic of how the masters Buddhapalita and Chandrakirti explained the thought of the noble ones, being liberated from all extremes of non-existence.
