It is so. Although the appearance of the environment is such, one should not and cannot have the pride or joy of thinking, "I have realized emptiness" in the experience and realization of one's own mind, because the experience of the view of emptiness has not arisen. The reason why the mantra path is said to be fast is that it has a special calm abiding, and the method of cultivating powerful calm abiding involves focusing on deities, channels, winds, bindus, etc., which are not found in the characteristic vehicle. At that time, the stronger the calm abiding, the more it is grasped by the view, and the more powerful the experience of the view becomes, so the mantra path is said to be fast. For the reasons mentioned above, one also knows the essence of the path of the characteristic vehicle, the three main points of the path mentioned above. On top of that, if one has mastered the instructions on the methods of the mantra path, like Nagarjuna and Chandrakirti, then the path is much faster and more excellent than that of the mere trainees of the characteristic vehicle. However, if there are no special key points of the characteristic path, then the uncommon trainees of mantra are inferior to the trainees of the characteristic vehicle, because that person cannot attain enlightenment by relying solely on the mantra path, but that person can attain enlightenment by relying solely on the characteristic path. Thus, in terms of the uncommon path, the characteristic vehicle is supreme, but the mantra is inferior because it is too attached to the enjoyment of desirable qualities, overpowered by afflictions, and only shows the means of higher rebirth and calm abiding to trainees whose minds are not pure, as the venerable one said. There are many things to be examined as to whether or not one can attain enlightenment by relying solely on the characteristic vehicle, but let it be. It seems that the basis of what these were said in consideration of still needs to be sought. However, after all these, I have made countless debates and requests to the venerable one, and although there are others, there is no time to write them, as he said. In this way, it seems that these matters should be accepted as they are literally. All of this is written later with the thought that it is a cause for generating certainty for us Redawa, and that we should know where it is going. Regarding these matters, I, Rawa, do not have even a trace of doubt as to whether it is so or not, because all doubts have been cut off, as the venerable one said. That is the main body.

From "ེ་ནས་ཞལ་ཏ་ཞུས་པས་" onwards, it seems like an addendum or something mentioned in passing, so I thought it wasn't necessary to explain in detail, so I'll explain it briefly. These were requested by Redawa to be reported to and sent to the Jetsun, and the reason or necessity for writing and offering them is that we haven't had the opportunity to meet since then, which I find very regrettable. Then, because there is no one else who can explain the way to generate experience in the three principal aspects of the path in such a special way, these written and sent ones are special. It is very important to understand and practice them. The detailed explanation of how to guide the three principal aspects of the path according to the Prasangika school is not written here. These letters that are written and sent are also not deceptive, and the reason why they are certainly not deceptive is that if they are deceptive, may garlic juice be dripped into my eyes. Then there are those sections urging Redawa to practice, and Redawa himself was urged to practice by the Jetsun and practiced, so if he succeeds in practice, please ask about the way to practice in this area and send it to me, and we will also see if it is consistent or not. Although those who give teachings seem to have explanations of these, it seems difficult to trust them if they are really made to guide from the bottom of their hearts. For practitioners, the three principal aspects of the path are the main cause or root of liberation and omniscience, but they do not generate the experience of practicing them in their own continuum, but mistakenly think that they have generated the experience merely by understanding renunciation and bodhicitta. Some people do not generate the experience of these two first, but mistakenly think that focusing on the channels, winds, bindus, etc., is profound. Some people, even if they practice in their continuum, do not find the pure understanding of these two, but mistakenly think that merely these superficial appearances fulfill all the characteristics and strive for them. Also, some people, as mentioned earlier, do not seek the understanding of the view, but hold that merely stopping the sound thoughts of not thinking about anything in the mind is practicing the pure view. Some people, let alone the shamatha that includes the higher levels, even the one-pointed concentration of desire, which is merely a shamatha that is in accordance with it, mistakenly think that they are meditating on the nature of reality. The one-pointed concentration of desire is the concentration of the nine mental abidings below before shamatha is attained. Shamatha is attained
