Because there are six kinds of clairvoyance: remembering past lives or abodes, remembering death and birth, and manifesting the knowledge of the exhaustion of defilements. There are differences between them, in order, being able to manifest one and many emanations, hearing various subtle and coarse sounds, knowing the various differences in the minds of others, remembering many past lives of oneself and others, knowing death and birth and where one will be born, and for the exhaustion of defilements of ignorance, establishing there the samadhi with wisdom that knows. The second is, liberation wisdom. Four are conventional wisdoms. There are five kinds of wisdom on the mind. The clairvoyance of the exhaustion is like strength. It is said. These six dharmas have essence, because it is the nature of wisdom that includes up to liberation. The other four, except for the third and sixth clairvoyances, are conventional wisdoms. The clairvoyance of knowing other minds is included in the five: dharma wisdom, subsequent wisdom, path wisdom, conventional wisdom, and mind wisdom. The clairvoyance of the exhaustion of defilements is like strength, believed to be included in six or ten. In the third part, generally showing the different dharmas, and separately explaining the five clairvoyances, there are two parts. In the first part, there are five: the difference of the ground, the difference of mindfulness, the difference of essence, the difference of awareness, and the difference of the three miracles. The first is, the five are in the four meditations, are objects of oneself and the lower. By obtaining and familiarizing, one is separated from attachment. It is said. The first five clairvoyances have the characteristic of where they exist, because they exist in the actual practice of the four meditations, and not in the formless realm. These five dharmas are the objects of one's own ground and the lower ground, because the miracle of that ability to emanate one's own ground and the lower ground cannot include the upper ground, and the hearing of that can only hear the sounds of one's own ground and the lower ground, not the upper ground. Similarly, the other three clairvoyances cannot include the upper ground other than one's own ground and the lower ground, because they know the name. Therefore, except for the very high, others cannot manifestly know the upper ground from their own power. That dharma has two ways of obtaining, one is obtained by practicing without prior familiarity, and the other is through familiarity.

Because it is obtained from being free from attachment. The second is, the third is the three kinds of mindfulness. The first is ear, supernormal power, eye. Thus it is said. The six kinds of direct perception have the characteristic, what kind of mindfulness is present? The third, knowing the minds of others, is included in the three: mind, feeling, dharma, mindfulness, and close abiding. The three direct perceptions of ear, supernormal power, and eye are included in the first mindfulness, namely body mindfulness. Other direct perceptions are the nature of the four mindfulnesses. The third is, the direct perceptions of eye and ear are, the undeclared and the rest are virtuous. Thus it is said. In this system, the six direct perceptions have the characteristic, you have the distinction of whether or not you have any of the three: virtuous, etc., because the direct perceptions of eye and ear are undeclared, and the rest are virtuous. The fourth is, three are knowledge, former limit, etc. Ignorance is for the sake of reversing. The last two of the non-learner are its, because they are born in the continuum, they are called that. It is accepted in the learner, because it is with ignorance, and because of the continuum, it is not explained. Thus it is said. The knowledge of the non-learner has the characteristic, you have three, namely the knowledge of the former abode of the non-learner's continuum, and the knowledge of death and birth, and the knowledge of the exhaustion of outflows, the three are called the three knowledges. The reason why knowledge is established as those three is because it is for the sake of reversing the ignorance that is ignorant of the former limit and the latter limit and the middle by etc. It should be, because the three direct perceptions successively reverse those three. The direct perception of the last exhaustion of outflows of the non-learner's continuum is the non-learner, but even if the other two are either learner or non-learner, it is not contradictory to call those two non-learners, because those two are born in the continuum of that person, so it is said. The two direct perceptions of former abode recollection and death knowledge also exist in the learner, but those two are not listed as the number of three knowledges here, because the learner is a continuum with ignorance. It should be, because the knowledge here must be explained from the opposite aspect of being free from ignorance. The fifth is, the first, third, and sixth are, all the miracles are, the supreme teaching. Because of not being confused and benefit and, pleasing result
