A word commentary on the seventh chapter of the Abhidharmakosha. A word commentary on the seventh chapter of the Abhidharmakosha. A word commentary on the seventh chapter of the Abhidharmakosha is present. Secondly, establishing the qualities of becoming wise, there are: establishing the qualities of knowledge and establishing the qualities of meditative absorption. The first has: the nature of wisdom and how it is possessed, how it is obtained, and the characteristics of its distinctions, four in total. The first has: the difference between forbearance and knowledge, the classification of the ten knowledges, and their characteristics, three in total. The first is: "Immaculate forbearances are not knowledge, / The minds of cessation and non-arising are not views, / Other than those, the two noble minds, / The other six knowledges are also views." It says. Here, if we speak of forbearance, knowledge, and right view, what are the differences between them? The wisdom of the eight immaculate and undefiled forbearances is a dharma. It is not knowledge among the two, forbearance and knowledge, because although it arises as the essence of wisdom that does not fear its own object, it does not arise as the essence of certainty that has abandoned doubt. Because it is the abandoner of doubt, which is the object to be abandoned of its own share. That is a dharma. It is a view, because it is the wisdom that investigates and sustains. The mind of the knowledge of cessation and non-arising is not a view, because it is not of the nature of not investigating and completely searching. Because, although there is only individual investigation, it does not completely search because the task has been completed. Other than those previous ones, the wisdom of the eight noble sufferings, dharma knowledges, etc., is a dharma. It is both the knowledge and the view of forbearance and knowledge, because it is also the certainty that has abandoned doubt in its own object and the nature of investigation. Other than the undefiled, the six aggregates of worldly consciousness and the non-virtuous and unspecified wisdoms that are associated with afflictions are dharmas. It is not a view, because it is only knowledge among the two, view and knowledge. Furthermore, the five views, such as the view of the perishable collection, and the six, such as the worldly right view, are dharmas. Not only is it conventional knowledge, but it is also the view of the two, view and knowledge, because it is the wisdom that investigates and searches for objects. Secondly, there are two: a brief statement and a detailed explanation. The first is: "Knowledge is defiled and undefiled." It says here.
