It is for doing together at the same time. Equal-resulting cause and pervasive cause, both are dharmas. Now, they are able to produce both the equal-resulting effect and the past equal-resulting effect, because if they produce an effect without interruption by another moment, then they produce that effect in the present, and if they produce an interrupted effect, then they perform the action of producing that effect in the past. There is the meaning of 'holding the effect,' as it says in the Ratnavali: 'Holding means throwing, it is a synonym for the object of the seed being near.' There are also those that hold the effect but do not produce it, such as the very small of the diminished roots of virtue. There are those that both hold and produce, which is mostly the case when the roots of virtue are not diminished. The ripening cause alone is a dharma. You only produce the effect in the past, because your effect does not occur simultaneously or immediately. Second, how many causes do the associated causes arise from, and how many causes do the non-associated causes arise from? The first is: Afflictions and maturation-born, the remainder and the first noble in order. Maturation, pervasive, those two, except for equal-resulting, born from the remainder. Are mind and mental factors. It is said. Knowable things are dharmas. Here there are four dharmas: afflictions and maturation-born, the first uncontaminated, and the remaining conditioned phenomena of those three. In order, afflictions are dharmas. They arise from five causes, because they arise from the other five causes except for the maturation cause. That which is born from maturation is a dharma. It arises from five causes, because it arises from the remaining five except for the pervasive cause. The unspecified ones and the virtues from the second moment onwards of the uncontaminated, are dharmas. They arise from four causes, because they arise from the remaining four except for the maturation cause and the pervasive cause. The first moment of the uncontaminated noble path is a dharma. It arises from three causes, because it arises from the remaining three causes of the acting cause, co-emergent cause, and associated cause, except for the maturation cause, the pervasive cause, and the equal-resulting cause. Those four dharmas are not only the general conditioned phenomena, but mainly the category of association.

It has been done. Because it is under the control of mind and mental factors. The second is: "Except for association, the rest are like that." It is said like this. The fruit dharma other than association. Your cause has many kinds. As mentioned before, there are four, three, and two. Therefore. Other non-restraints, root afflictions, and non-association of afflictions, etc., are born from the four causes other than maturation and association. The non-association of virtues such as liberation and meditation, and the non-indications of arising and ceasing, etc., are. The other three are born apart from maturation, pervasive association. Such as the undefiled discipline is born from the two causes of the acting cause and the co-existent cause. This dharma. It is not born from the cause of association. Because it is non-associated. Secondly, the specific explanation of conditions. Generally speaking, there are two types: indication and immediate explanation of the difference of conditions. The first type has three types: brief indication of differences, detailed explanation of individual nature, and explanation of other characteristics of those differences. The first is: "Conditions are spoken of in four types." It is said like this. Condition Dharma. If you distinguish, there are four types. Because there are four types of causes: cause condition, object condition, dominant condition, and immediate condition. The second is: "Cause is called five causes. Those who are born of mind and mental factors. The last is not equal to no interval. All objects are all dharmas. Acting cause is said to be at ease." It is said like this. Are cause and condition contradictory? Not contradictory. The cause other than the acting cause is the cause of the five causes. Most of the dharmas born of mind and mental factors. Similar immediate conditions. Because one's own similar immediate consciousness produces later consciousness. The last mind and mental factors of the Arhat. It is not a similar immediate condition. Because there is no wisdom of the near-obtained fruit. All dharmas such as form. It is any kind of object condition, real or false. Because form is the object condition of the consciousness of the eye, all dharmas are the object condition of the consciousness of the mind. Dominant condition dharma. Can be established. Because the acting cause is said to be you. Here is the general meaning.
