The state of being both physically and mentally uncomfortable is like some ordinary people with little merit and hell. The state of life being exhausted but karma not being exhausted is that even though one is born in the three lower realms, etc., even if one dies after that life is exhausted, one is born there again. The state of karma being exhausted but life not being exhausted is like being happy in the first half of life and suffering in the second half, or being happy in the second half of life and suffering in the first half. The state of both karma and life being exhausted is that one dies and transmigrates from hell and is not born there again, but is born as a hungry ghost, animal, or human, etc., that is, one does not have to be born again in the same place where one was born before. The state of both karma and life not being exhausted is that of noble beings and most ordinary people. Although born in a bad rebirth, having a beautiful form is caused by accumulating small sinful actions under the influence of desire, like a parrot and a peacock.
