We, the assembled beings, will eventually separate, and all that is burned will eventually be exhausted. The end of what is high cannot escape the nature of decline, and the end of birth cannot escape death. Merely obtaining one life, one cannot avoid death in the end, and when one will die is also unpredictable. Therefore, with mindfulness, please abandon the thought of staying for a long time and having time to practice Dharma later, and bless me to generate the mind of remembering the lack of time. This is said in general terms, not covering all situations. Because Buddhas and Bodhisattvas do not separate from the merits of hearing, thinking, and meditating, and the two accumulations, etc., and consciousness does not separate from samsara, nirvana, and mental factors, just as in Anuttarayoga Tantra, one must also combine with the wind that one rides. The accumulations accumulated by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will also not be exhausted, and they will not inevitably decline and die due to karma. As the Ratnagotravibhāga states: "Because the Lord of Death does not move, one obtains the state of deathlessness and peace." It also says: "The noble ones have abandoned old age and disease, and have completely abandoned the suffering of death." Therefore, its meaning is that these coarse objects gathered by contaminated aggregates will eventually separate, and ordinary people who take birth due to karma and afflictions cannot escape death, etc., which is the main meaning. Secondly, as explained in the Lamrim, ordinary people who take birth due to karma and afflictions will surely die, when they will die is unpredictable, and at the time of death, only the Dharma can benefit, and nothing else. First, as stated in the Compendium Sutra: "Wherever one is, one cannot escape the attack of death." etc. Second, as stated in the sutra: "Which comes first, the previous life or the next life, is unpredictable." etc. Third, as stated in Kanika's letter: "When the Lord of Death leads, except for virtue and non-virtue, all beings retreat, and no one follows after you." etc. The second part has four points: Praying that no harm or obstacles occur at the time of approaching death; that no confused appearances occur; that one can remember the previous instructions; and praying that the mind is full of joy.
