Fearing suffering, it is like storing wealth in youth. All of this is done not by distinguishing separately that this is the self of this time and place, but generally by wanting to obtain my happiness and wanting to be free from suffering. Even just the self also follows at those times, so it is not a delusion about the definite realm. Therefore, know that the name that gives the term 'I' and the self that is named are not to be regarded as completely identical, but know that that person is a part of that self. These seem to be very important for the general dependent origination, and especially for the certainty of the arising of happiness and suffering, the result of good and bad actions, so I will just mention a little. Understand as it is said. Otherwise, one will die confused about the general karmic results and all the actions of past and future lives, and in confusion one must also accept its classification. If one's own 'I' is only general and exists in all past and future, then wouldn't it become permanent? It does not become permanent, for example, man and impermanence are only general, although they exist at all times, but they do not have to be permanent. Third, explaining the classification of the three times, there are two parts: the main text and the implied meaning. First, the Vaibhashikas consider that even sprouts, etc., are established as the three times, and they believe that sprouts exist in both the past and future times of the sprout. Among them, Venerable Dharmatrata believes that a sprout is present in the future, and when it enters the past from the present, it abandons the nature of the future and the present, but does not abandon the trace of that time. For example, when a gold vessel is destroyed and used as an ornament, and when milk turns into yogurt, the shape and taste change, but the color does not change. Ghosaka believes that each time has the characteristics of all three times, but depending on which part is dominant, it is established as any of the three times. For example, when a man develops a strong love for a woman, it is said that he loves her, but it does not mean that he does not have love for other women. Vasumitra believes that an object like a sprout, even if it is the same, is established there when it reaches each stage such as the future. For example, the same pellet, if placed in the counting holes of one, hundred, and thousand, will be called one, hundred, and thousand.

It is considered like using terminology. Regarding the Buddha, it is established as other depending on the basis. For example, the same woman is a daughter in relation to her own mother, and a mother in relation to her own daughter. The Sutra School, the Mind-Only School, and the Svatantrika School believe that, in general, the thing itself has the cause of arising, but the thing has not yet arisen there, which is the future; the thing itself that has already arisen now, the sound disappears, which is the past; what has arisen but has not stopped, this is considered the present. If it is either past or future, then it is necessarily non-existent, they also agree on this, as stated in the Stongthun. However, they do not think that if something is either past or future at the time of its existence, it is necessarily non-existent, because the cause of the sprout is considered past at the time of the sprout, and the fruit of the sprout is considered future at the time of the sprout. If it is either the past or the future of the sprout, it does not necessarily have to be either the past or the future at the time of the sprout. For example, the part of the sprout that is destroyed is the past of the sprout, but it is not the past at the time of the sprout; the part that has not yet arisen but can become a sprout is the future of the sprout, but it is not the future at the time of the sprout. Even so, it needs to be examined whether the destruction of the sprout is the time of the past of the sprout, because time must be established from the thing itself. The Sutra School, the Mind-Only School, and the Svatantrika School all believe that, in general, the past and future of the sprout are both non-existent. As it is said in the Great Commentary on the Root Wisdom Treatise: "The future of destruction and non-arising are both considered non-existent. This is what all the self-schools from the Sutra School upwards, except for the Consequentialist School, believe." Because these three believe that the sprout is inherently established, they believe that the past of the sprout's destruction is not a real thing. As it is said in the Commentary on the Entrance: "Moreover, in all schools that believe that things are inherently established, destruction cannot be a real thing." The reason why they think it is not a real thing is that if something like a sprout does not stay in the second moment of its existence, it is not a real thing. For example, a thing like a sprout is destroyed
