The method of accomplishing the Peaceful Bardo: The consciousness transmigrates outward, without obstruction, and the Bardo is accomplished like the rise and fall of a balance scale. It transforms into the form of the body of whatever realm it is to be born into. However, there is no Bardo when one is born in the formless realm. Fifth, the manner of joining continuity is twofold: the actual topic and the extended meaning. First: If one is born in a womb, the Bardo being sees sentient beings of the same kind as oneself and engages in looking at them, playing, and so on. One develops a perverted thought towards the semen and blood of the parents. There, even though the parents are not engaging in sexual activity, one sees them doing so as if it were an illusion, and one becomes attached to it. At that time, if one is to be born as a female, one desires to be separated from women and becomes attached to men, desiring to engage in sexual activity. If one is to be born as a male, the perception arises in the opposite way. When such a desire arises and one approaches that place, one becomes angry when nothing is visible except the sexual organs of the man and woman, and one dies and transmigrates, joining continuity. The consciousness that has just joined continuity is the mind consciousness itself; sense consciousness does not exist at that time. There, it mixes with warmth and other subtle elements and gradually develops. After about thirty-eight weeks, it is born externally. The classifications of these are extensively explained in the Sutra of Happy Entrance into the Womb. If one is born in hell (mostly), as an animal, a hungry ghost, a human, or a desire realm god, one sees sentient beings of the same kind as oneself and goes there. Due to anger at the place of birth, the Bardo ceases and one joins continuity in the state of becoming. However, for sinful beings who are destined to be born in hell, who kill many sheep, pigs, birds, wild animals, and so on, in the Bardo, they see sheep, pigs, and so on as in a dream, and they run there with the joy of past habituation. Then, being angry at the place of birth, the Bardo ceases and one transmigrates to the state of becoming. Being born from an egg is mostly similar to being born from a womb. If born from heat and moisture, one craves odors; if born miraculously, one desires a place; if born in a hot hell, one craves warmth; if born in a cold hell, one craves coolness, and this causes the joining of continuity.

Shad do. Secondly, the additional meaning is: It is necessary to have a good understanding of how to cycle through samsara through the twelve links of dependent origination according to the Madhyamaka system. That is, this aggregate is not self, and it is not a self that is independent of this aggregate that goes to the next world, but only the 'I' that is imputed in dependence on the aggregate, a Dharma like an illusion, cycles through samsara merely conventionally by relying on the twelve links of dependent origination. Because it is necessary to understand the way of cycling. If you do not understand it in this way, you will cycle through samsara. As it is said in the Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path: Even when those limbs of the fruit are established, there is no person who accumulates karma and no person who experiences the fruit, but as mentioned before, the limbs of the cause of Dharma alone produce those limbs of the fruit of Dharma alone, and without understanding the way of cycling, being deluded about it and grasping it as self, and wanting the self to be happy, therefore, by manifestly engaging in virtuous and non-virtuous actions of the three doors, one cycles again. From the three afflictions arise two actions, and from those arise seven sufferings, and from the seven also arise afflictions, and from those also cycle as before, so the wheel of existence revolves continuously. So it is said. When cycling in this way, how does consciousness itself connect from this life to the next, and what kind of example is there for that? It will be explained. The meaning of the way in which consciousness connects to the next life according to the Mahayana system, as explained in the sutras, is: The noble Nagarjuna said in the Essence of Dependent Origination of the Middle Way: All beings are cause and effect, there is no other sentient being in this, only from the Dharmas of emptiness, only the Dharmas of emptiness arise. Recitation, lamp, mirror, seal, flint, seed, sourness and sound, the aggregates also connect. As it is said like this. Although there is no independent self or person who transmigrates to the next world, only the 'I' that is empty of nature, merely conventionally, connects to the next life by relying on the cause and effect of the twelve links. There are eight examples for this connection, from the student's recitation arising from the teacher to the arising of an echo from a sound. It will be explained.
