If one meditates, there are many mistakes and places to get lost. If attached to bliss, one gets lost in the desire realm. If attached to clarity, one gets lost in the form realm. If attached to non-thought, one gets lost in the formless realm. Elaboration as an antidote is lost in the path and nature. All that becomes the object of mind, such as grasping and clinging, Meditating on emptiness fabricated by the mind is elaboration. When afflictions arise, if one does not recognize them as emptiness, one gets lost in emptiness as an illusory antidote. Saying that all phenomena are emptiness, devoid of root, meditating on emptiness is lost in the path. All phenomena are like the sky, nothing is established, saying there is no meditation is lost in the nature of knowable things. If the way of settling the mind is not confused, the way the stages of experience and realization arise distinctly is: For the sudden, realization arises first. For the direct crossing, there is distinction between with and without characteristics. For the gradual, first arises one-pointedness, Bliss, clarity, non-thought, clear and refreshing. When there are high and low, existence and non-existence in experience, one should meditate on the lama and offer a mandala. All objects and subjects appear as emptiness, however, without certainty, it is an empty experience. All phenomena of existence, samsara, nirvana, and one's own mind, emptiness, like the sky, without beginning or end. That is not blocking appearances and meditating on emptiness, but meditating on what appears as an object as emptiness itself. Wisdom arises, such as clarity and subtlety, with a samadhi like the supreme great Dharma, All experiences of warmth, the emptiness of self-nature, because there is no realization, it is uncertain samadhi. Having generated devotion, prayed, and accumulated merit, from then on, the arising of realization free from elaboration is: All phenomena are realized as one's own mind, one's own mind is primordially pure and appears as emptiness. If one becomes accustomed to and trains in that, then all the various elaborations of samsara and nirvana, Without meditating on non-elaboration that blocks elaboration, one meditates on the emptiness of elaboration with elaboration. Having taken it into experience, through the blessing of the lama, one realizes the nature of the mind, luminosity, great bliss. The bliss, clarity, non-thought of experience is the nature of the three realms, The bliss, clarity, non-thought of realization is the nature of the three kayas. Non-elaboration, great bliss, union is the path. From then on, the arising of one taste realization is: All phenomena of existence, samsara, nirvana, whose characteristics are unmixed, clear and distinct, the difference, non-duality, Dharmakaya.

With a single taste, cause and effect, dependent origination, are all complete. If asked how it is complete, the functions of the five sense consciousnesses are different, but free from conceptualization, without error, they are one in the essence of awareness. In the dependent origination of cause and effect in samsara, how causes, conditions, and results arise, etc., with the realization that sees this shore and the other shore, abandoning samsara and accomplishing nirvana, the manifestation of cause and effect is the ability. That diverse, non-dual, multi-flavored oneness, all objects and subjects that are not grasped by memory, although they appear as dualistic habitual tendencies, if one becomes completely familiar with that path, then the habitual tendencies of rejection, acceptance, hope, and fear, the two grasps, their characteristics unmixed, are completely one. The specific qualities of the Buddhas and the Dharma, the arising of qualities in the mind of the realized one, like the separate functions of the sevenfold offering, are complete and unmixed in the mind of the offerer. Offering water appeases attachment and so on, attaining the Dharmakaya, and so on with the rest. Furthermore, the various virtuous results, all dharmas are complete in the state of union of one's own mind. For example, like a spice mold and a spice extractor, the mold has various patterns, when the spice powder is spread and the extractor is applied, the patterns on the mold appear on the spice, but the patterns are unmixed, each distinct, and nothing other than the spice powder arises. Wherever the six kinds of sentient beings dwell, whatever actions the mind does, results arise. But what arises is not something other than one's own mind. How do the cause, the path, the Bodhisattva, and the qualities of the Buddha abide? Whatever actions are done with a virtuous mind, how do qualities arise from what exists in the object? But what arises is not something other than one's own mind. The dependent origination of samsara and nirvana are all complete in the wisdom of omniscience. The nature of mind is unmodifiable, and is primordially no different from the minds of the Buddhas, so modification cannot bring any additional benefit. All the many dharmas of samsara and nirvana, are not merely the mental appearances of sentient beings, objects and subjects do not exist independently. All that is seen, heard, remembered, touched, known, and spoken, however it is seen, is one's own mind.
