Are purified and virtues arise. From the third (bhumi) onwards until the non-meditation (bhumi), The afflictions and afflictive obscurations, The small ones are purified first, and the large ones later. The obscurations of wisdom and knowable objects, The large ones are purified first, and the small ones later. The wisdom of the alaya is obscured by the afflictions themselves. The five poisons of afflictions, the three poisons are what need to be purified. The five wisdoms and three bodies are qualities of dharma. After the afflictions are purified, the wisdom three bodies, Apart from these, there is no separate accomplishment. Anger, pride, desire, jealousy, and, Ignorance and so on, all the afflictive obscurations, These dharmas are each empty in their own nature. These afflictive obscurations are purified by themselves. The afflictive obscurations accumulated since beginningless time, Karma and habitual tendencies, all manifest and ripen. Ignorance, wrong views, doubt, hesitation, all, Through practicing karmas, are immediately purified. Cut off the demon of afflictions and the bonds of afflictive thoughts, By realizing all dharmas as one's own mind. The object of meditation, the act of meditation, the meditator, the means of meditation, etc., With the wisdom of the three spheres being completely pure, One makes the great obscuration of knowable objects purified. For the individual who has generated the taste of meditation as one, The arising of qualities and the manner of abandoning obscurations, etc., Although explained in detail in the context of the path, The intermediate of both afflictions and knowable objects is purified. The manner of the gradual arising of its qualities, Has been explained in detail in the context of the path above. From the ignorance of the completely imputed downwards, All the coarse and subtle afflictive obscurations, and, All the way up to the habitual tendencies of dualistic appearance are purified. The coarse aspect of the small obscuration of knowable objects is purified. For the individual who is the basis for generating the non-meditation bhumi, The manner of the arising of qualities has been explained in the context of the path. The great afflictions, the small knowable objects, By realizing the non-dual wisdom of one's own mind, What is not meditation does not exist as something separate. With the wisdom of everything dawning as meditation, The co-emergent ignorance, the alaya, and, The great fundamental obscuration of afflictions is purified. The manner of purifying its afflictive obscurations is, By recognizing one's own mind as the dharmakaya, ignorance is purified. The alaya's nature is completely pure, Severing the root of the formation of afflictive obscurations. Thereby, all the fundamental obscurations of afflictions are purified. The minor obscuration of laying the ground is, It appears that form and wisdom are different. The five families are of one taste, the sixth is Vajradhara. Because the five wisdoms and the Dharmakaya are of one taste, The five forms become inseparable and one, At the time of obtaining the wisdom of all-knowing, By relying on the wisdom obscuration consort, Teacher, the essence of the Sugatas of the three times is gathered, Therefore, at the time of the ultimate fruition, by empowerment, The obscuration of knowable things is purified and manifest enlightenment is attained. Those individual ways of purifying obscurations, Should be known by applying them directly to the key points of the path. For the sake of the Dharma seeker and the benefit of beings, On writing the profound oral transmission into letters, May all the gurus, yidams, heroes, and dakinis, Forgive all that has displeased you. By the stainless merit of composing this Dharma, May the petitioners and sentient beings, Attain the supreme and common siddhis, And may they attain Buddhahood for the benefit of beings. The merit of meditating on Mahamudra, And the two stages of the path of the four yogas, Requested by the faithful patron Sherab Wangchuk, For the benefit of sentient beings. In the place named Tsiklung Kodzo, The profound Dharma, qualities, and precious all-illuminating light. Tisri Repa composed it for the benefit of beings. May all auspiciousness and well-being arise!
