It should be known as wisdom. Without hatred, one cannot subdue the hater and the violent. Without pride, there are no merits, and one cannot suppress the arrogant. Without desire, there is no happiness, and one cannot bring the desirous under control. Without jealousy, there is no activity, and one cannot easily suppress the jealous and malicious. Without ignorance, there is no Dharmadhatu, and wisdom does not arise in the ignorant. If one experiences hatred as clear emptiness, haters will gather around, haters will come to serve, and haters will be able to generate the Samadhi of clear emptiness. If one experiences pride as the equality of the minds of sentient beings and one's own mind, the proud will gather around, the proud will come to serve, and the proud will be able to generate the Samadhi of equality. If one experiences desire as bliss-emptiness, the desirous will gather around, the desirous will come to serve, and the desirous will be able to generate the Samadhi of bliss-emptiness. If one experiences jealousy as joy-emptiness, the jealous will gather around, the jealous will come to serve, and the jealous will be able to generate the Samadhi of diligent activity. If one experiences ignorance as Dharmadhatu, the ignorant will gather around, the ignorant will come to serve, and the ignorant will be able to generate the Samadhi of Dharmadhatu. Thus, although the method of reversing from the five afflictions has been explained in detail above, especially the affliction of desire arises first and is also difficult to abandon in the middle. For sentient beings who descend from the four Dhyana heavens to the desire realm heavens and the human realm, the material affliction of desire arises first. By taking the objects of Samsara through sexual union, abandoning the joy and happiness of the Samadhi of the gods, coarse discriminations arise in the desire realm and are taken up. Because one does not know that desire is unpolluted bliss, it becomes polluted suffering, and this itself is wisdom, so the method of transforming it into the path is shown. It is said in the Great Vehicle Secret Mantra: In the Unsurpassed Yoga Tantra it says: For the sake of those with desire, his action is Vajrasattva. Sanskrit Romanization: vajrasattva, Chinese literal meaning: Vajrasattva). And, in the Unsurpassed Yogini Tantra it says: Like fire

Just as thorns are removed with thorns, and fire is burned again with fire. When water enters the ear, it is cleared with other water. As it is said, furthermore, children are born, and dirt is washed away with dirt. Therefore, the dirt here refers to things with desire, leakage, and pain. It is not purified by meditating on peaceful emptiness, but it is cleared by recognizing that the things with desire and pain themselves are happiness or emptiness. So, how to transform it into the path? Lord Naropa said, "The consort with characteristics is the key to the object." Therefore, for those on the path of desire, the consort is real; but for those on the path of liberation, it is the beautiful consort of the mind. That is, for the object of desire to arise manifestly, or to become an object of the mind, when the thought of desire arises, one should meditate on experiencing bliss and emptiness. If you experience it in this way, desire will be transformed into the path of happiness. Other afflictions are also like this, anger is emptied by anger, pride is emptied by pride, jealousy is emptied by jealousy, and ignorance is emptied by ignorance. In this way, know that each dharma is emptied by itself. Transforming afflictions into the path of happiness is the order. Fourth, the so-called path of means is based on the basis of the three stages of the path of means, and practicing it like a key point, that means itself is the path. There are three ways to abide in it: First, the initial way to abide; the way to abide on the path; the order of the fruit arising. First, the body's channels, letters, bindus, and winds make the whole body without defects, which is the way to abide in the object of meditation. The mind, awareness, and emptiness abide in the body without distinction, which is the way to abide in the essence of the meaning of what is being meditated on. There are two ways to abide on the path, the first is the actual way to abide on the path: Without wind, tummo will not burn; by controlling the wind, tummo will burn. When tummo burns, (Tibetan: ཧྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) it will warm, and from this happiness will arise. From this, the elements melt, and the bindus increase and expand. From this, realization with characteristics arises. From this, one can see the true nature of the mind. If you see the nature, you will abide on the ground beyond suffering, and that is how it is. When Jetsun Milarepa and Je Gampopa met, Gampopa showed his experience of having good samadhi, Milarepa said not to meditate on that kind of fleeting experience, but to meditate on my tummo and life force. When the Kadampa asked if there was a complete stage of practice, he said that those were all conceptual thoughts.
