It is only the superior faculty that arises with the nature of union. That is the meaning of the statement. Although the inferior and superior faculties are similar in terms of the deity's form, the difference is very great. The inferior faculty's object does not have the realization of union; it is merely the deity's form, merely skillful means, merely appearance, merely bliss, merely conventional truth, and the experiential aspect is predominant, so it only serves as a stepping stone on the path. The superior faculty does not meditate on the path through the stages of generation and completion. The completion stage itself arises as the generation stage, and the generation stage itself is understood as the completion stage. Therefore, arising as the form of union is the path of the superior faculty, and the difference is very great, he said. Furthermore, if you feel weary and want to recite, do so according to the instructions. Afterwards, activities during breaks between sessions, etc., should be understood as before. These are the stages of practice for the superior faculty. Secondly, incidentally, beginners should meditate repeatedly on each separately. The meaning of this is that it is very important for beginners to meditate repeatedly on the three objects mentioned above, he said. Such three objects of meditation should also follow the teacher Abhaya, first meditating on the deity's form, etc., as the lowest of the superior faculties, thereby becoming the middle of the superior faculties, and then training in clear light. Having trained and become accustomed to it, one becomes the highest of the superior faculties and should train in the path of focusing on union, he said. Regarding this, Pal Gwalwa said: Since the extent of beings' previous lives' training is uncertain, it is possible to learn union from the beginning, and it is also possible to learn clear light. There are also cases where one must only learn to focus on the deity's form. Therefore, each person's path is different, and it is not necessary to learn in sequence in any case. For each of the three objects, during the preparatory stage, accumulate the two accumulations, and during the main practice, meditate on any one of the three objects, and the activities during breaks between sessions are clear, he said. My precious teacher, the deceased, said: If someone wants to fully meditate on the paths of the inferior, intermediate, and superior faculties in one session, then during the preparatory stage, accumulate the two accumulations, and then

From the state of ..., instantly visualizing oneself as a deity, this is called learning the deity's form. Then, controlling the upper and lower winds, gradually meditate on clear light, or instantly abandon all mental fixations on existence and non-existence, etc., and relax and rest in the uncorrected state of awareness, this is called learning clear light. When feeling weary, clearly visualize that clear light as the form of a deity, and do not abandon the experiential aspect of appearance, but do not grasp its nature as truly existent, nor abandon the aspect of emptiness. Like a reflection in a mirror, it is merely appearance and yet empty, merely empty and yet appearance. That body of inseparable appearance and emptiness is the object of focus for samadhi. To that, abandon all mental efforts of grasping at existence and non-existence, and rest in the uncorrected state of awareness, forcefully suppressing the wind and meditating, this is called learning union. When feeling weary, perform recitation and post-session activities as before. When meditating in this way, the object and appearance are clear, and the experience of emptiness arises, without grasping at characteristics as truly existent in their own nature, this is the samadhi of the union of clear light awareness. At that time, the wind returns inward, the channels open, heat arises, all the elements of the body dissolve and merge into the body, and bliss arises. To that, the experience of non-conceptualization arises in samadhi, this is the samadhi of the union of clear light awareness, so it is said. These are shown incidentally. Third, the result of practice is shown, from "meditating on it" to "will be obtained." That is, the individual who is the basis, by meditating in this way, will manifest the glorious Heruka who is the nature of the three bodies. This is what is shown, that "by meditating on it, from spontaneous accomplishment, reaching the ultimate supreme perfection" means that the individual who is the basis for accomplishing glorious Chakrasamvara abandons all worldly distractions, and through intense diligence, practices without interruption, thereby spontaneously accomplishing it. That is, all actions of body, speech, and mind, without effort or exertion, become solely samadhi, and this is called reaching the ultimate supreme perfection. When that state is reached, the siddhi of the great mudra is union...
