Abundantly wise, a light-maker, destroyer of darkness in every way; He illuminated the Noble Truths, I bow down to that Buddha. Possessing rays, bearing rays, possessing light, making light; Lord of light with a thousand rays, I bow down to that Buddha. Shining like the full moon, radiant with the splendor of wisdom; He pierced the great darkness of delusion, the great sun... The greatly radiant one; He illuminates all the world, I bow to that Buddha. Like a glowing ember, full of flames, Lamp of knowledge, bearer of rays; He destroys the darkness of delusion, I bow to that Buddha. All beings covered in darkness, He freed with the light of wisdom; He kindles the light of Dhamma, I bow to that Buddha. Destroyer of the darkness of ignorance, Omniscient, radiant in all ways; He illuminates the path of knowledge, I bow to that Buddha. He dispels all darkness, In every way, radiant in all ways; He reveals all truth, I bow to that Buddha. Out of compassion for all worlds, He creates light in all worlds; He removes darkness from all worlds, I bow to that Buddha. He reveals omniscience, The seer of all, the sage; He destroys the root of delusion, I bow to that Buddha. Burning with the power of wisdom, Exceedingly sharp in radiance; Garlanded with rays of wisdom, intensely radiant, I bow to that Buddha. He destroys the darkness of delusion, Revealer of the light of Dhamma; He gladdens many people, I bow to that Buddha. In worlds covered by dreadful darkness, He freed with great wisdom; He reveals the light of Dhamma, I bow to that Buddha. Radiant with the dawn of compassion, Dispeller of all sorrow; He destroys the darkness of craving, I bow to that Buddha. In all worlds covered by darkness, The Lord who creates the light of Dhamma; Breaker of the delusion of ignorance, I bow to that Buddha. Having cut through the veil of ignorance, Illuminator of the light of knowledge; Creator of the radiance of wisdom, I bow to that Buddha. He utterly destroys dreadful darkness, He shatters the three existences; The sun among men, the supreme sun, I bow to that Buddha. Igniting the light of wisdom, Shattering the mass of darkness; Extinguishing the five aggregates, That Buddha I bow down to. Sun of Dhamma, glorious light, Destroying the darkness of all ignorance; Radiant, blazing with light, That Buddha I bow down to. Bearing the light of wisdom's radiance, Making light for all worlds; Illuminating the Dhamma of liberation, That Buddha I bow down to. Destroyer of the darkness of ignorance, Manifesting the light of Dhamma; Light-maker, splendor-maker, That Buddha I bow down to. Energetic, endowed with vigor, Ascetic, crown of ascetics; Adorned with glory, resplendent, That Buddha I bow down to. Honored with the auspiciousness of Dhamma, Adorned with the splendor of Dhamma; Well-surrounded by Dhamma, That Buddha I bow down to. Dispelling all doubts, Dispersing Māra's army; Illuminating all worlds, That Buddha I bow down to. Of immeasurable splendor, of incomparable gain, Giver of immeasurable light in the world; Of immeasurable vigor, of incomparable vigor, That Buddha I bow down to. Illuminating all worlds, Like the moon freed from clouds; Revealing the pure true Dhamma, That Buddha I bow down to. Like a blazing fire, Shining brightly like a deity; Destroying great ignorance, That Buddha I bow down to. Manifesting the Dhamma of peace, Like the sun dispelling darkness; Continuously spreading peace, That Buddha I bow down to. Friend of the world, benefactor of the world, Kinsman of the world, companion of the world; Maker of light in the three worlds, I bow down to that Buddha. One who consumes joy and tranquility, One who drinks much the essence of joy; One who feeds on joy, one whose mind is joy, I bow down to that Buddha. Generator of joy and delight, Feeder of supreme happiness; Delighting in seclusion, I bow down to that Buddha. Light of awakening, ray of awakening, Adorned with the splendor of awakening; Divine light, divine ray, I bow down to that Buddha. Whose body is divine, whose form is divine, Whose nature is divine, who is a holy one; Attained the divine, become the divine, I bow down to that Buddha. Great benefactor, full of loving-kindness, Whose mind is great compassion; Who taught the path to liberation, I bow down to that Buddha. Who carried across many floods of existence, Like a skilled boatman; Whose effort is the force of loving-kindness, I bow down to that Buddha. Desirous of welfare, without craving, Abode of infinite compassion; Knower of complete welfare, I bow down to that Buddha. Giver of sight, giver of knowledge, Compassionate to all worlds; Whose mind is full of compassion, I bow down to that Buddha. Whose mind is wholesome, not fierce, Whose mind is loving, without anger; Whose mind is purified, without abuse, I bow down to that Buddha. Doer of good, wholesome one, Leader on the path of welfare; Attained the perfections of welfare, I bow down to that Buddha. Doer of boundless compassion, Abundant treasure of compassion; Abode of profound compassion, I bow down to that Buddha. Greatly compassionate one, wise one, Ocean of compassion and knowledge; Doer of exceeding compassion, I bow down to that Buddha. Doer of good, compassionate one, Good friend, full of loving-kindness; Taught the wholesome Dhamma, I bow down to that Buddha. Whose heart is compassion, protector, Secure one, whose mind is secure; Whose mind is sympathetic joy, one who delights, I bow down to that Buddha. Having renounced the universal monarchy, The Awakened One attained omniscience. An ocean of compassion complete, to that Buddha I bow down. The great fire of anger and hatred, he quenched with water of loving-kindness; A benefactor for all the world, to that Buddha I bow down. Whose mind is cool with compassion, compassionate to all beings; Endowed with wholesome qualities, to that Buddha I bow down. Ocean of kindness, treasure of kindness, kind, ocean of kindness; Lord of kindness, protector of kindness, to that Buddha I bow down. Great in kindness, great in benefit, great-minded, who is the great sage; Always kind, always great-minded, to that Buddha I bow down. Giver of welfare to all beings, giver of happiness to all; Giver of peace to all creatures, to that Buddha I bow down. Like a rain-cloud, beings he showered with the Dhamma-cloud; Doer of peace and happiness in the world, to that Buddha I bow down. Considerate of others, serving others, doer of happiness for others, the sage; Seeking others' welfare, seeking others' good, to that Buddha I bow down. The Four Noble Truths he proclaimed, out of compassion for living beings; Many people he saved, to that Buddha I bow down. Always peaceful, giver of peace, happy, giver of happiness; The Dhamma-cloud he showered, to that Buddha I bow down. For the welfare of many people, many existences he wandered; Many people he uplifted, to that Buddha I bow down. For the welfare and happiness of many, he fulfilled the perfections; The path to liberation he sought, to that Buddha I bow down. Everywhere with an equal mind, compassionate to all living beings; Always with a compassionate mind, to that Buddha I bow down. Friend to all, companion to all, compassionate to all creatures; Doer of welfare for all beings, to that Buddha I bow down. Thinking of welfare for all, bringing happiness to all; Compassionate to all, to that Buddha I bow down. Whose body is perfectly tender and delicate, whose limbs and minor limbs are beautiful; Worthy of praise, worthy of veneration, to that Buddha I bow down. Adorned with all beauty, adorned with all glory; Beloved by all people, to that Buddha I bow down. Lovely, very lovely, Handsome, of beautiful form; Of peerless hue, golden-hued, To that Buddha, I bow down. Of pleasing hue, of pleasing form, Of pleasing fame, of pleasing glory; Of pleasing light, of pleasing radiance, To that Buddha, I bow down. Attained the six supernormal powers, wise, Of radiant complexion, very fair to see; Shining with six-colored rays, glorious, To that Buddha, I bow down. Resembling a golden treasure, Faultless, with skin like gold; With a golden face, very lovely, To that Buddha, I bow down. Delighting with his radiance, Revealer of the path to liberation; Encircled by the rays of Dhamma, To that Buddha, I bow down. With a lion's jaw, bull's shoulders, Adorned with the splendor of wisdom; Of beautiful face, handsome is he, To that Buddha, I bow down. Endowed with beauty, bestowing beauty, Mind-born, gladdening the mind; He gladdens all beings, To that Buddha, I bow down.
