Blessed is the sage who conquered Māra! Blessed is the victor of the battle! To that Buddha I bow. Delighting in meditation, devoted to meditation, delighting in Dhamma, devoted to Dhamma; Oh! Oh! He has gone to the other shore, to that Buddha I bow. Untainted like a lotus, see his purity; His mind unattached, alone, to that Buddha I bow. Oh! The Buddha! Oh! The Pure One! Oh! The one with a perfectly pure mind! Oh! Oh! Ocean of loving-kindness! To that Buddha I bow. Pure in conduct, pure in mind, pure in view, homage, homage; Dweller in Dhamma, doer of good, doer of welfare for beings, homage, homage. Great ascetic, Dhamma-seer, seer of the unperishing, homage, homage; Seeker of the path, well-wisher of the world, great Buddha, homage, homage.
