Golden, of golden hue, Gold-colored, supreme in color; Of golden hue, with golden rays, To that Buddha, I bow down. Of pleasing body, of pleasing splendor, Of pleasing light, of pleasing radiance; Pleasing to behold, radiant, To that Buddha, I bow down. And with soft, white hair between the eyebrows, With an unbroken row of teeth; The Blessed One with well-rounded ankles, To that Buddha, I bow down. Of long body, long tongue, Long arms, long fingers; With firm hands and feet, To that Buddha, I bow down. With a voice like Brahma, deer-like shanks, Of upright body, like Brahma; Knower of taste, supreme in taste, To that Buddha, I bow down. With blue eyes, long heels, And a high, golden nose; With feet marked by excellent wheels, To that Buddha, I bow down. With forty even teeth, With eyelashes like a young calf; With the forepart of his body like a lion, To that Buddha, I bow down. And with one hair in each pore, With skin like gold; Endowed with white canine teeth, To that Buddha, I bow down. With dark blue hair on his head, Adorned with a fathom-long aura; With webbed hands and feet, To that Buddha, I bow down. With his private parts covered by a sheath, With well-planted feet; Lion-like Without a turban on his head, I bow to that Buddha. With all the marks of a Great Man, bearing the thirty-two marks; Who has the eighty minor characteristics, I bow to that Buddha. And exceedingly pleasing, exceedingly delightful; Exceedingly captivating to the mind, I bow to that Buddha. Supremely radiant, lovely, beautiful, pleasant to behold; Full of the thirty-two marks, I bow to that Buddha. With lovely radiance, golden-hued, with golden face and eyes; Resembling a golden mountain, I bow to that Buddha. Desirable, lovely, shining like gold; With eyes like lotus petals, beautiful in form, I bow to that Buddha. With auspicious appearance, bright, shining like a golden mountain; Radiant, with divine appearance, I bow to that Buddha. Adorned with excellent marks, beautiful in every way, completely lovely; Gentle, beautiful in all limbs, I bow to that Buddha. A mine of virtues, worthy of veneration, with a voice like the Karavīka bird; Endowed with excellent marks, I bow to that Buddha. With a great body, a vast body, with a divine body, a straight body; With a radiant body, a peaceful body, I bow to that Buddha. With exceedingly delicate limbs, with an exceedingly soft body; Exceedingly beautiful, the Lord, I bow to that Buddha. The eye of people, the crown of people, with a serene face and eyes; With eyes like a white lotus, I bow to that Buddha. With a serene mind, serene, excellent, exceedingly beautiful; Perfectly pure, supreme, I bow to that Buddha. With a fitting form, with an auspicious form, speaking auspiciously, with an auspicious face; Shining, exceedingly brilliant, I bow to that Buddha. With a sweet voice, with sweet speech, speaking sweetly, with a sweet sound; Speaking sweetly, speaking softly, I bow to that Buddha. With a soft body, with a soft mind, soft, with soft characteristics; With a soft mind, speaking softly, I bow to that Buddha. Endowed with excellent marks, possessed of all limbs; Supreme in all worlds, I bow to that Buddha. Well-adorned, endowed with beauty, Adorned with the ornament of peace; The lofty banner of the three worlds, To that Buddha, I bow down. Having crossed the terrible flood of samsara, Adorned with the ornament of liberation; Endowed with great beauty and good qualities, To that Buddha, I bow down. Fully endowed with all good qualities, Adorned with the ornament of virtue; The foremost jewel of the True Dhamma, To that Buddha, I bow down. Whose fame and glory are endless, Worshipped by all beings; Renowned, famous, and venerable, To that Buddha, I bow down. Well-worshipped in all worlds, Esteemed in all worlds; Honored in all worlds, To that Buddha, I bow down. Worshipped by gods and chief of gods, The leader of great gods; Renowned as the beloved of the three existences, To that Buddha, I bow down. Worthy of being seen, worthy of praise, Worthy of commendation, pre-eminent; Worthy of description, worthy of veneration, To that Buddha, I bow down. Inspiring confidence, serene, Pleasing, tranquil; Worthy of offerings, worthy of homage, To that Buddha, I bow down. Revered, honored, Praised, saluted; Attained boundless glory, To that Buddha, I bow down. Worshipped by the three existences, exceedingly, Gone to the other shore from this shore; Faultless, the crest-jewel of wisdom, To that Buddha, I bow down. Powerful, fruitful, Highly esteemed by many; Great benefactor, Lord of Enlightenment, To that Buddha, I bow down. Bowed to in all worlds, Honored in all worlds; Revered by humans and gods, To that Buddha, I bow down. The supreme venerable one of the worlds, Well-revered, with respect; Bearing glory and fame, beloved, To that Buddha, I bow down. Renowned, widely known, well-known, Universally famous, venerated; Exceeding in glory, extensive, To that Buddha, I bow down. Foremost of all, eldest of all, Purest of all, supreme of all; Worshipped by all, honored, To that Buddha, I bow down. All gods follow him, The leader of all gods; Worshipped by the three worlds, the Protector, To that Buddha, I bow down. The guide of all worlds, The physician of all worlds; The foremost of all, the Dh Untouched, undefiled, I bow down to that Buddha. Hero, overcoming all worlds, Conqueror, supreme in all worlds; Renowned in all worlds, I bow down to that Buddha. Fully endowed with all supernormal powers, Renowned in all worlds; Famous for his all-seeing eye, I bow down to that Buddha. Lord, beneficial to all worlds, Bringing happiness to all worlds; Well-worshipped in all worlds, I bow down to that Buddha. Not desiring any desire, With desire cut off everywhere; Having crossed the great ocean of craving, I bow down to that Buddha. As he saw, so he taught, With a mind truthful in every way; He made known the truth, I bow down to that Buddha. Knower of knowledge, endowed with knowledge, Endowed with wisdom, wise; Born of Dhamma, serene in Dhamma, I bow down to that Buddha. Well-endowed with good qualities, A good, virtuous, wise person; An ocean of great wisdom, I bow down to that Buddha. Seer of name and form, An ascetic and a treasure of asceticism; And a seer of reality as it is, I bow down to that Buddha. Endowed with the Buddha-qualities, The leader with eighteen (unique qualities); Attained psychic powers, a great perfected one, I bow down to that Buddha. Attained virtue and concentration, Attained liberating wisdom; Attained the perfected Dhamma, I bow down to that Buddha. Attained the purified Dhamma, Dispeller of all perversions; Crossed the ocean of the three existences, I bow down to that Buddha. Extinguished the fire of lust, Become cool, bringing coolness; Caused the nectar of peace to rain, I bow down to that Buddha. Having crushed the sectarians, Having set aside wrong views; He established the true Dhamma, I bow down to that Buddha. Liberated from human attachments, Transcended divine attachments; Completely liberated from all attachments, I bow down to that Buddha. Dispeller of the darkness of the three existences, Bearing the light of enlightenment-knowledge; A worthy lamp of Dhamma, I bow down to that Buddha. A meditator, endowed with meditation, Destroyer of the dominion of ignorance; A very good meditator. Great meditator, That Buddha I revere. The great one, who reached the end of craving, Who cut off the cord of existence; He crushed attachment, That Buddha I revere. All defilements of kamma, He swept away without remainder; He caused the Dhamma-Ganges to flow, That Buddha I revere. He attained self-control, he attained restraint, He attained tranquility, he behaved with equanimity; He attained the permanent, the eternal, That Buddha I revere. Intelligent and discerning, Wise and master of wisdom; Liberated with a mind of loving-kindness, That Buddha I revere. Skilled in what is possible and impossible, Very proficient in the Dhamma; Who gained wisdom, very wise, That Buddha I revere. He crossed the flood of suffering of existence, He reached the far shore by abandoning craving; He destroyed the night of ignorance, That Buddha I revere. With a firm heart, a burden-bearer, Restrained, with a controlled mind; With guarded faculties, with guarded pride, That Buddha I revere. Well-restrained, with peaceful faculties, Content, well-composed; Complete in knowledge and conduct, That Buddha I revere. He crushed the wheel of birth, Now there is no rebirth; He crossed the flood of the three worlds, That Buddha I revere. Unentangled with householders, And with the homeless both; Dwelling without a home, unattached, That Buddha I revere. He abandoned birth and death, Extinguished without clinging; He crossed the ocean of saṃsāra, That Buddha I revere. Seeker of the path, gone on the path, The Tathāgata, proclaimer of the path; He showed the deathless path, That Buddha I revere. As he saw, so he proclaimed, The Blessed One, of vast wisdom; Desireless, stainless, the protector, That Buddha I revere. Foremost in wisdom, lord of sages, Free from delight and aversion; Beyond fear, beyond existence, That Buddha I revere. The enlightened leader, The highest benefactor; Giver of all supreme happiness, That Buddha I revere. Stainless, without blemish, Pure, cleanser of defilements; Crusher of pride, free from pride, That Buddha I revere. Honored Saluted, praised, revered; Worshipped by gods and humans, to that Buddha I bow. Radiant with a fathom's aura, bearing thirty-two marks; Endowed with minor characteristics, to that Buddha I bow. Without rod, without weapon, he taught by Dhamma; He uplifted many beings, to that Buddha I bow. Blessed, he drank the Dhamma-nectar, destroyer of the poison of craving; He crushed all ignorance, to that Buddha I bow. Blessed is the protector! Blessed is the master!
