For whom, immediately after (their current) mind, the last mind of those in the sense realms will arise, in the form realms, in the formless realms, for those in their last existence, and those who (are in) the form realms, the formless realms... having arisen in the formless realm, they will attain final Nibbāna. For them, as they are passing away, bodily formation will not arise. And for them, verbal formation will not arise. For those endowed with the last consciousness, for whom, immediately after that consciousness, the last consciousness without initial application and sustained application will arise, for them, both bodily formation and verbal formation will not arise. (Kha) Or for whom, again...? Yes. (Ka) For whom bodily formation will not arise, for them will mental formation not arise? For whom, immediately after that consciousness, the last consciousness of the sense-sphere beings will arise, for those of the form-sphere and formless-sphere who are in their last existence, and those who, having arisen in the form-sphere or formless-sphere, will attain final Nibbāna, for them, as they are passing away, bodily formation will not arise. And for them, mental formation will not arise. For those endowed with the last consciousness, for them, both bodily formation and mental formation will not arise.
