Due to his actions, the power reversed, and great miracles occurred. Mtsurston reported all the reasons to Kharag Lhamo Wangchuk Dorje. There was no one more skilled in reversing spells than Rolpo Meton, especially in the Tsang region. Our reversal spells are different from yours, and you don't have any Urmo hand seals either. According to the prophecy, take seven pieces of dyed woolen cloth and go to Tsangrong to see Lhaje Gnubschung. He gave complete teachings without omission. He returned to his homeland to practice, but the miracles became even greater. He went to Khulung again, offered a fine horse and much gold, and requested teachings. He gave complete teachings without omission, including the initiation ritual (5a), and he was satisfied. He and his son Jampal, eighteen years old, and Mtsurston Wangde, fifteen years old, together established the lineage of defensive, reversing, killing, and suppressing mantras. As a result, the caster of the reversal spell, Rolpo Meton, and his four servants vomited blood and died. After that, Spongzhon Ston, sixty-one men and women, passed away within nine months. Mtsurston Rinchen Dorje heard the teachings from his uncle Paldan. Then, in order, were Lama Tsultrim Rinchen, the mantra holder Jangchub Gonpo, the wise one Namkhai Mtshanchan, then Rigdzin Tsultrim Zhabs, Gyaton Wonpo Namkhai Rigdzin Sangwa. In front of him were many wise ones such as Rawe Lama Gyaton Kunga Tsondu. Many appeared, and some of them were very skilled in controlling life, so they created many auxiliary texts on reversal spells. Lhasras Gyalpo's emanation, Chögyal Drigungpa Rinchen Phuntsog, heard these teachings and put them into practice, and the Yidam deity appeared and actually showed signs of conquest on the conquered lands such as Zhika Rinbungpa. All activities were naturally accomplished. He passed the teachings on to Gyalsras Lhaje's reincarnation, Riggi Sras Chögyal Phuntsog. He passed it on to Naropa's emanation, Sras Trashi Phuntsog. He passed it on to Rigdzin Namchak Mebar's emanation, his younger brother Rigdzin Chökyi Drakpa. These three fathers and sons all saw the Yidam deity and achieved results in practical actions. To this holy one, our guide Nyak Jñana Kumara's emanation, Zur Dorje Chang Chöying Rangdrol, gave the initiation of the sharp blade inner cutting. The lineage and practice of the old text is from Je Rinchen Phuntsog to Nangsalwa Trashi Gyatso, Rigdzin K. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kun dga' tshe mchog, Ngag dbang ye shes grub pa, Zur kun mkhyen chen po. Furthermore, from the numerous self-liberated essential practices, everything I heard from my father, Zur chen gzhon nu don grub, was kindly bestowed upon me, and the extremely detailed practice was directly heard from dbur smyon chos kyi grags pa himself. The empowerment based on the mandala and the sharp inner cutting (rnon po nang gcod), and the complete transmission, from dbur smyon dkon cog phun tshogs to the mantra holder dkon cog lhun grub sprul pa'i sku mchog, the treasure revealer gter bdag gling pa, who then granted it to me. Moreover, all the endless lineages of Kama (bka') and Terma (gter) have merged into one river, and the lineage has not been interrupted, being the lineage of the Victorious One's Intent (rgyal ba dgongs pa'i brgyud pa), the lineage of the Vidyadhara's Signs (rigs 'dzin brda'i brgyud pa), the lineage of the Personal Oral Transmission (gang zag snyan khung brgyud pa), the lineage of the Aspiration Empowerment (smon lam dbang bskur brgyud pa), the lineage of the Command Descent Prophecy (bka' babs lung bstan brgyud pa), the lineage of the Karmic Treasure (las 'phro gter gyi brgyud pa), the lineage of the Yellow Scroll Words (shog ser tshig gi brgyud pa), this is the unbroken Kama of the seven-fold lineage, the breath of the Dakinis has not yet faded, the oral instructions of the practice-vision lineage have not been cut off, it has not entered into the defilement of mixed-up broken vows, above there is the Vajra Tent protection that has not collapsed, in the middle the blazing power of the wind-blade for reversing and killing has not diminished, below the heat of the pressing-down and entrusting combined Homa has not faded (6b). To accomplish white Dharma practice, what is indispensable is the black power's iron fence, the blessings of Yama, Rahu, and the red-black faced planets, now I will bestow the empowerment of the sharp inner cutting. First, in the space in front, invite the assembly of the three roots to abide, in order to receive refuge, generate bodhicitta, and take the vows of the vidyadhara, recite from the 'Secret Essence of Manjushri' ('jam dpal don gyi gsang tig) brought from Samye Utsé (bsam yas dbu rtse) by Ari Panchen Pema Wangyal (mnga' ris paN chen pad+ma dbang rgyal): Namo! Guru Manjushri, Lord of Life! From this time forth, until I attain the body of the Wisdom Sattva, I prostrate and take refuge, may I liberate all the sufferings of samsara! Recite three times. And 'Manjushri Vajra, together with the Sugata and their retinue, please be mindful of me. For the sake of beings, I will uphold whatever the protectors of the three times have done. I will uphold the stainless discipline, the virtue that gathers all dharmas, and the three ways of benefiting sentient beings. I will liberate those who have not been liberated, free those who have not been freed, give breath to those who have not breathed, and establish all in nirvana. As the samaya of Manjushri's body, I hold the Three Jewels and will never abandon them.' Manjushri's speech... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
