All the hosts of gods, And the hosts of nagas, yakshas, rakshasas, bhutas, pretas, pishachas, madmen, apasmaras, mamos, and dakinis, All those without exception, Please come here and pay attention to me, For the sake of protecting the teachings and benefiting beings, Those who have made vows and promises, Great glorious ones, swift as thought, Terrible in form, fierce and unbearable, Subduers of the wicked, destroyers of the black hosts, Givers of the fruits of yogic practice, Whose power, strength, and blessings are inconceivable, I prostrate and praise the eight hosts of yakshas and others, The eight classes, consorts, sons, and servants, Please grant me the grace of all accomplishments, To us yogis and our retinues, Grant freedom from disease, long life, and power, Glory, fame, and a good kalpa, May we obtain all vast enjoyments, And the accomplishments of peaceful and increasing activities, Please protect me, who keeps the vows, Be the helpers of all accomplishments, Please eliminate untimely death and all diseases, Please eliminate ghosts and obstacles, Bad dreams and bad omens, Bad deeds and evil omens, May the world be happy and the crops be good, May the grains increase and the Dharma increase, The source of all goodness and auspiciousness, May all wishes of the heart be fulfilled! Famous in the three worlds, worshiped by gods and humans. The holy Dharma brings peace to all beings. This is the second auspiciousness of the world. The holy Sangha is rich in Dharma, hearing, and auspiciousness. A place of worship for humans, gods, and asuras. The supreme of assemblies, the basis of shame, knowledge, and glory. This is the third auspiciousness of the world. Above, the Bodhisattvas who terrify the hosts of demons and asuras dwelling in the demonic realm. In the human world, whether in a direction or without direction, all the wrathful kings and their consorts. And below the earth, all the powerful Nagas who constantly bind the hosts of evil spirits. May all of them, day and night, at all times, protect the world without knowing day or night. Making aspirations: May all sentient beings be happy! May all sentient beings be free from harm! By whatever path they go, may they quickly attain Buddhahood! Those who have not been liberated, may I liberate them. Those who have not been freed, may I free them. May the root text of yoga remain in place now. Recite the hundred-syllable mantra of Vajrasattva as much as possible. Whatever is incomplete or damaged, and whatever I have done out of ignorance, or have done or will do, may the Protector forgive me! Om, you accomplish all the purposes of sentient beings. May you please come again. Oṃ Vajra Muḥ! (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་མུཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra muḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Muḥ) The wheel of wisdom dissolves into oneself. If there is a support, then also do a stable abiding. By this merit, may beings, through paths such as smoke, meditate on the supreme bliss born together. The thirty-two marked body of the guru of beings, truly abides in the wheel of Dharma. May the gods, with the collection of light rays from the jewels on the crowns of their heads, touch the lotus at the feet. Like the guide of the sacred path, like the sun destroying all darkness, may it become the Kalachakra itself. How do those of the Shakya lineage, together with the sun, obtain wisdom? May all sentient beings abiding in the three realms, by the grace of the Kalachakra, become E-Vaṃ. (Tibetan: ཨེ་ཝཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: evaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: E-Vaṃ) Any person who, deluded by the friends of demons, constantly goes into the untrue darkness and loses the way. May all of them, having obtained this path, come to be not far from the house of Vajra Jewel. Even if we yogis, not having obtained the yogini, die with extremely agitated minds. Also, in the glorious human world, in the most excellent Shakya lineage, may we be born as those endowed with yoga. May we, by that former habit, again constantly hold the vast wisdom yoga. Having obtained wisdom, in the inexhaustible supreme place, may we not be born again. May we be free from enemies, lions, elephant kings, fire, the lord of fellow travelers, thieves, the binding of ropes. And from floods, flesh-eaters, the fear of death, diseases, the disturbance of the senses. Poverty, separation from women, the fear of non-human conflicts, and Vajra falls, loss of meaning, etc. May we yoginis, by the power of clearly remembering the feet, be completely pacified. By this virtue, may I quickly accomplish, the state of Kalachakra. May all beings, without exception, be established on this earth. May I be born into a family with lineage and vows, without madness, able to teach Kalachakra. May I respect the guru, possess compassion, may it be so in life after life. May I shake the Vajra bell with my hand, read the profound Dharma, and always share the nectar with the consort. May it be so in life after life. May I meditate on union by its power! The goddesses are the measure, the vows are the measure, And the words spoken by them are the best of measures. By this truth, may those goddesses Become the cause of holding me! After making such a prayer, recite various auspicious verses again. Moreover, those who do not rely on special Dharma protectors, But only abide in the yoga of glorious Kalachakra, Then only that Torma ritual described in the Sadhana is sufficient. By offering Tormas to the main deity and the ten wrathful ones, It will become an offering to all the deities beyond the world; Especially by offering to the guardians of the directions, the planets, and the retinue of nagas, It will become an offering to all the beings of the three realms. Therefore, this is the extensive common Torma for all beings. The ten elements are the protectors of the ten directions, And by offering to them, It becomes the common Torma of the protectors. Also, all the classes known as glorious goddesses, Are gathered in the most fierce mothers of the ten directions, And those are the mothers of the ten elements, Therefore, all the retinue of the Black Cloak siblings are complete in this. It is like the Torma ritual is actually revealed to all Vajra Dakinis, And because it includes all the land deity Tormas, etc., for the land owners and village owners, Therefore, just this alone accomplishes all the complete and flawless Torma rituals. By the virtue of writing in this way, May all sentient beings quickly attain the state of Buddhahood! This clear essence of the Torma ritual was composed by Gya Kham pa Ta ra na tha. Good luck!
