The king of men who rules the land according to Dharma, with discerning wisdom taming beings, surrounded by a retinue of brave and wise ministers, the king, ministers, and Bodhisattvas. The unsurpassed system of the Sugata, residing in the place of great revision, translation, and annotation, skilled in two languages, possessing clear intelligence, the great translators. Establishing the lifeline of the teachings in Jambudvipa, kindling the lamp of Dharma in the land of snow, the only son of Shakya wearing saffron robes, the great Abbot Shantarakshita. The Bodhisattva who upholds the conduct of a Dharma king, all those to be tamed in this snowy land, who tame them with various methods, at the feet of Trisong Detsen. Expanding knowledge in the five sciences, prophesied by Tara to come to the land of snow, becoming omniscient in the age of five hundred, the protector of beings, Atisha. From the supreme sacred place of Vajra nature, with the compassion of possessing clairvoyance and miraculous powers, protecting practitioners like a mother protects her child, the assembly of Dakinis in the three places. Even the Bodhisattvas abiding on the ten Bhumis, with the wrathful form blazing like fire, towards the enemies who hate the teachings.
