Do not be negligent, or read scriptures, or circumambulate stupas, etc. After completing whatever meditation is possible during the session breaks, begin eating, and continuously offer the essence and leftovers of the food. Afterwards, maintain cleanliness, and with the seven-branch offering as a preliminary, engage in reading scriptures, listening to Dharma, or meditation, etc., whichever is suitable. In the afternoon, in order to dispel fatigue, make yourself very happy with Dharma-filled words, and then engage in various session break practices such as making tsatsas. In the evening session, with prostrations as a preliminary, make offerings to the noble ones and give generous torma offerings to the spirits, and make many special aspirations. In the first part of the night, diligently engage in meditation or reciting scriptures, or carefully contemplate the meaning of these scriptures, and at midnight, go to sleep with a virtuous mind. On the eighth, fourteenth, fifteenth, and empty sky days, if there is a Dharma teacher, listen to the Dharma teaching throughout the night, or listen to and speak about the Dharma until midnight. If such conditions are not available, make offerings to the image of the Tathagata, or spend the time with any kind of Dharma practice. If someone has entered the Mantrayana, then they should especially strive to diligently engage in recitation and meditating on the meaning of the secret mantras in the four sessions. In other situations, in order to increase the merit of the patrons and others, also perform the refuge, generation of bodhicitta, prostrations, and offerings and confession in detail, and in between, perform the rituals of reciting sutras, etc., and finally make aspirations and say auspicious words. Alternatively, with a condensed seven-branch offering as a preliminary, it is also acceptable to recite sutras and dharanis. Now, the order of these rituals will be explained: Glorious root guru, precious one, please reside on the lotus seat on the crown of my head, and through great kindness, hold me with your grace, grant the siddhi of body, speech, and mind. I prostrate to the feet of the Bhagavan, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One, glorious victorious Shakyamuni Buddha! Please pacify, protect, and bless all inner and outer obstacles to my body, speech, and mind. This leisure and opportunity is extremely difficult to find. Having obtained the opportunity to accomplish the purpose of human life, if I do not accomplish benefit from this, how will I obtain this perfect opportunity again in the future? The three realms are impermanent, like autumn clouds. The birth and death of beings is like watching a dance. The life of beings passes like lightning in the sky. It goes quickly, like water flowing down a steep mountain. When the king departs due to the approach of time, enjoyment, friends, and relatives do not follow. Wherever beings go, karma follows like a shadow. Due to the power of craving, existence, and ignorance, beings wander in the three realms of humans, gods, and the three lower realms. They ignorantly revolve in the five realms, like a potter's wheel turning. The three realms blaze with the suffering of old age and sickness. There is no immortal protector here. Beings are always deluded in what arises from existence, like a bee trapped in a jar. Thus, speak and contemplate the meaning. It is also acceptable not to recite these verses, such as "This leisure and opportunity," in gatherings. From this time until I reach the essence of enlightenment, I and all sentient beings equal to the sky take refuge in the glorious and precious root and lineage gurus, who are the embodiment of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of all the Tathagatas of the ten directions and three times, the source of the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, and the masters of all the noble Sangha. I take refuge in the deities of the mandala. I take refuge in the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Tathagatas. I take refuge in the sacred Dharma. I take refuge in the noble Sangha. I take refuge in the dakinis, Dharma protectors, and guardians who possess the eye of wisdom. Recite this three times, then recite the four refuges as much as possible. I take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha until enlightenment. By the merit of generosity and so forth that I have done, may I attain Buddhahood for the benefit of all beings.

May it be auspicious and accomplished! May all sentient beings have happiness and the causes of happiness! May they be free from suffering and the causes of suffering! May they never be separated from the happiness that is without suffering! May they abide in equanimity, free from attachment and aversion, near and far! Although not moving from the pure realm of Dharma, You supremely gaze upon beings with eyes of compassion. Accomplishing the activities of all the Victorious Ones, I request the gurus of the three times, together with their retinues, to come. You are the protector of all sentient beings, Subduing the hordes of demons and their unbearable armies, Knowing all things as they are, I request the Bhagavan, together with his retinue, to come to this place. Bhagavan, in countless eons, For the sake of beings, you have purified everything with compassion, And have completely fulfilled your vast aspirations, Now is the time for you to benefit beings according to your wish. Therefore, from the spontaneously accomplished palace of the Dharmadhatu, Displaying various miraculous blessings, In order to liberate limitless assemblies of sentient beings, I request you to come together with your completely pure retinue. The Three Jewels, protectors, and all those who have taken vows, pervading all directions and times, Please consider with loving-kindness and compassion the suffering beings afflicted by disturbing emotions. From immeasurable realms, with unobstructed miraculous power, Please come here and abide in the midst of a sea of offering clouds. Whose kindness is the very nature that is illuminated by light, That very assembly of precious light destroys the darkness, Those without eye defects abide in enjoyment, above them, I prostrate to that guru, the sun, who is to be seen. Guru, the incomparable precious Buddha, All the Sugatas of the three times, together with their sons, The blessing of the nature of body, speech, and mind, I prostrate to the feet of the greatly kind one. First, generating the supreme mind of enlightenment, Accumulating merit for three countless eons, In between, subduing the four obstructing maras, I prostrate to the Bhagavan Lion... With compassion for all beings, You turned the wheel of Dharma that had never been heard before, The protector who tames gods and humans, I prostrate to the one who reached the end of existence... When you, the chief of bipeds, were born, You took seven steps on this great earth, Saying, "I am supreme in this world," At that time, I prostrate to you, the wise one... The pure body manifests...

Ah, most excellent in form! Like a golden Mount Meru of the ocean of wisdom, Fame shines brightly in the three realms, Prayer to you, the protector who has attained the supreme! When the Great Sage went to the village of farmers, The shade of the Jambudvipa tree did not abandon his body, Six young gods (the assembly of 《ཛཾ》) attended to you, At that time, prayer to you who are worthy of offerings! Possessing excellent marks, the face of the stainless moon, Prayer to you who are like the color of gold! There is no one like you, stainless, in the three realms, Prayer to you, the incomparable wise one! Supreme among humans, tamer of beings, The Thus-Gone One who cuts the bonds of all attachments, Whose senses are pacified, utterly pacified, skilled in peace, Prayer to the one dwelling in Shravasti! Although the Dharmakaya is inseparable like the sky, The Rupakaya is distinctly clear like a rainbow, Prayer to the five Sugatas who have mastered the supreme method and wisdom! Prayer to the Buddha Namovairocana, the crown jewel that protects all, Prayer to Krakucchanda Buddha, Kanakamuni Buddha, Kashyapa Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha, Gautama, the god of gods, Prayer to the seven heroic Buddhas! Auspicious and harmonious virtuous gatherings, Always increasing when practiced, Prayer to the thousand perfect Buddhas who completed their deeds in one fortunate eon! In the past, having generated the great mind of enlightenment, Having perfected the two accumulations and fulfilled the ultimate intention, Prayer to the sixty-five thousand Thus-Gone Ones, I prostrate with body, speech, and mind! Excellent Name, Jewel, Excellent Gold, Free from Sorrow, Proclaimer of Dharma, Abhisambodhi, Medicine Guru, Shakyamuni, Prayer to the eight Sugatas who have perfected vast aspirations! Like the sun, dispelling the darkness of ignorance, Like the moon, dispelling the suffering of afflictions, The Medicine Buddha who cures the diseases of the three poisons, Prayer to the light of lapis lazuli! The leader who guides the world, Amitayus, The glory that destroys all untimely death, The protector of those who are helpless and suffering, Prayer to the Buddha Amitayus! The fire of great love burns the firewood of hatred, The light of wisdom dispels the darkness of ignorance, As the regent of the Dharma, benefiting beings, Prayer to the one dwelling in Tushita!
