arising from the aspect of, it accomplishes the perfect cause and condition that is independent of others. Among them, the excellent Dharma, initially good, in the middle good, and finally good, if there is such an excellent difference from the perspective of the content being spoken, then the collection of conditioned virtuous deeds of how one should act for the sake of the Dharma also shares this meaning. Therefore, the true Buddhist Dharma, as Nagarjuna said: Worldly wise ones, gain and no gain, happiness and unhappiness, pleasant and unpleasant, praise and blame, these eight worldly dharmas, my mind does not take, treating them equally. Like this, virtuous deeds for obtaining the eight worldly dharmas are not good. In the world, kings and officials, etc., enjoy themselves in their respective territories, and the root of most virtuous deeds is to levy taxes from the people, forcing the people to engage in heavy labor, and considering this to be the only pure act. Regarding this, the teacher Hero said: The donor has power, Vishnu (विष्णु , viṣṇu, the pervader), the beggar, at the time of the horse sacrifice, gives the great earth, those bound by the fruit will eventually obtain it, who would desire such a reversed cause and effect? Like this, in various aspects, virtuous deeds done to gain fame for oneself, although they appear very excellent, however, its cause is to reduce the enjoyment of others, beating, plundering, binding, etc., imposing the suffering of torture on others, and the artisans also engage in labor while groaning and sighing, these will not become the cause and effect that pleases the Buddhas. Therefore, in the measure of standards, it says: At all times and places, have extremely pure intention, possess the adornment of the garment of shame, with faith and generous offerings, worship the gods and artisans without distinction. Like this, treating those who possess the knowledge of craftsmanship as objects of respect, offering them in places without the suffering of food deprivation and groaning, especially having grand banquets at the beginning, middle, and end, almsgiving after the banquet, and independent of this, watching performances in other places, engaging in entertainment activities, etc., opening opportunities to eliminate sorrow in other ways, like this, not binding the people, for those who are greedy for sensual pleasures, food and
