In the past, for the great glorious Heruka, All the Buddhas of the ten directions, By bestowing the empowerment of the great elephant hide, Just as ignorance is purified in its place, And one becomes the lord of the three realms, Today, to you, yogi son, By bestowing the empowerment of the great elephant hide, May ignorance be purified in its place, And may you destroy the great army of demons! In the past, for the great glorious Heruka, When demons and rakshasas and so forth, Inflicted harm upon the body of the Bhagavan, All the Buddhas of the ten directions, By bestowing the empowerment of the field's foundation, Just as demons and rakshasas were subdued, In order to reduce samsara to dust, Today, to you, vajra son, By bestowing the empowerment of the field's foundation, Demons and rakshasas and so forth, May you gain the power to destroy all! In the past, for the great glorious Heruka, All the Buddhas of the ten directions, By bestowing the three garlands of dry and wet human skulls, Having subdued the three realms, one accomplishes the three kayas. Likewise, to you, fortunate son, By bestowing the empowerment of the three garlands of skulls, May you spontaneously accomplish the three kayas, And also, having purified the three poisons in their place, May you gain the power to subdue all! In the past, for the great glorious Heruka, All the Buddhas of the ten directions, By bestowing the empowerment of the snake bundles, Compassion and hatred are purified in their place. Likewise, to you, fortunate son, By bestowing the empowerment of the snake bundles, Having conquered all the nagas, demons, and rakshasas, May you gain the body of the great terrifying one! To the great glorious Heruka, All the Buddhas of the ten directions, By bestowing the empowerment of the garuda's wings, Overpower demons and rakshasas.
