Thus, there are eleven chapters for gods and humans, seven chapters for Śrāvakas, and two chapters for Bodhisattvas. All of these are the twenty deeds of Bodhisattva Don Drub. In the past, when the noble Bodhisattva White Lotus descended from the abode of Tushita into the womb of Māyādevī, the head ornament of jewels was removed, and Maitreya was empowered as the Dharma King, the teacher of the gods. In accordance with this, by empowering with a jeweled crown, may the great Dharma King become empowered. Hūṃ, White Lotus removes the jeweled crown from his head, and with his own hand places it on my head. Maitreya is the Dharma King, may he perform the great Dharma King's reign. From the realm of Dharma, wherever it arises, the emanation pervades, a treasure that fulfills wishes. Initially perfecting the assembly, ultimately reaching the other shore, this is the auspicious first chapter of the empowerment of the completion of merit.
