Such karma does not arise. Thus it is said. Now, the chapter on being free from expression is explained, which means that the nature of Bodhicitta is inexpressible, thus showing the meaning of being free from terms. The most secret Dharma nature is that, since nothing can be perceived, it is without self-nature. Since it is free from all characteristics, there is no object to be grasped. Because it is inexpressible, ordinary people cannot understand it, so it is secret. Therefore, it is free from all words and phrases, and abides in the Dharma nature, like the expanse of the sky. Therefore, self and other cannot be established. Since there is nothing to be found, the power to be obtained does not arise, so it cannot be obtained from another's ear faculty. Similarly, the tongue faculty also. There is not even a particle to be spoken of in it. Thus it is said. Now, the chapter on beings not being bound by karma is explained. In the nature of Bodhicitta, it shows the meaning of not being bound by others. The suffering of beings, Bodhicitta, enjoys completely because of complete knowledge. It is said that the cause of all beings is the nature of Bodhicitta. Suffering is due to defilement. In that, it is completely known by happiness, and subdued by suffering, abiding in samsara like a game, and enjoying the complete understanding of the nature of all dharmas. That also, because of taking the bliss of abiding immovably in selflessness and equality, although there is no movement in it, it abides equally like the edge of the sky. In all equality of difference, the thought of karma is distinguished. It is said that karma is a false name for inverted views, and it does not exist. Beings abide equally in the field of Bodhi with the bliss of Samantabhadra, and are not bound by karma. Why is that? Because it is not expected. If the power of karma is strong and like a vajra, then karma is before and beings are after, then beings are turned by the power of being bound by karma, then there is no liberation. Because beings are before and karma is after, karma itself is the nature of Bodhi, because it is not turned by afflictions. If it is turned by that, then there is no self-born wisdom. Thus it is said. The cause itself is vajra-like condition, which means that the cause is impermanent.

It is the mind of Bodhi. From this, the unborn Dharma appears as the play of Samantabhadra, so it is a cause. Because the nature of all Dharmas has the power of great non-birth. Because the essence of the great Bodhi mind, which is accomplished without effort, is immovable, so there is no fear because it is unborn. Originally, it is the essence of Bodhi. This is how it is taught. This is also because it is far from the effort of ultimate truth and all hopes of conditioned things, it becomes the great place of Dharma-nature, and abides in equality, so the thought of effort cannot move the Dharma-realm. That's how it is said. Now, let's talk about the occasion of being away from the mind of effort, and talk about letting go of hope, staying in aspiration, and the meaning of transforming into a special birth. The great merit of meditation is that for those who are bound by the afflictions of this world, the freedom and happiness of the mind in an instant, through accumulating the accumulation of merit and wisdom, occupy the position of great meditation and act, etc. It is inconceivable by meditation itself, it is said that the meditation of happy progress, for that object to be stopped, is viewed as inconceivable. Not thinking, not practicing, like the Dharma, is to say that both the part of not thinking and the part of not practicing, both produce confused awareness by the power of discrimination, because it is a fault. Wisdom arises from discrimination itself, it is said that without relying on progress and practice, wisdom will arise from awareness as it is. After falsely establishing names on the subtle door, it is said that clinging to what is not as what is, is the subtle door. Seeking the path with the solitude of the mind, it is said that the mind is defiled by the subtle of confusion, because of greed for solitude and temples, and seeing it as the path, clinging to solitude in the continuum of solitude, if observed, then cultivating the cause of discrimination. That's how it is said. Establishing names on cause and effect, it is said that all impure Dharmas are regarded as causes, and afflictions arise from them, which is why they are established as effects. The cause of good and evil is the same, separating the karma, like dividing in the sky. It arises from this world, etc., giving rise to the joy of acceptance and rejection, that's how it is said.
