He remained there. Inconceivable miracles and wonders occurred. He taught the Dharma of inner and outer secrets, which are beyond thought, to the fortunate king and subjects. However, these were only secret teachings, not openly revealed. However, the fire puja that had been started to increase the power of the royal lineage was left unfinished, and the third oath with the gods and nagas was not completed. Due to the results of the evil-wishing ministers of Tibet, the happiness of Tibet would be harmed. A great Dharma wheel would flourish, but in the meantime, great turmoil would occur. The nagas and kings would harbor resentment. The royal lineage would also not abide by the law, and therefore would be scattered and disintegrated. Saying this, because he knew the future, he also spoke many wrathful mantras. He hid many texts of Dharma and wrathful mantras as treasures, and merely through the manifestation of magical powers, he hid one hundred and eight treasures of Dharma and wealth, as well as countless tiny treasures, in different places, and planted the seeds of aspiration to meet with fortunate ones in the future. In general, there are many different opinions regarding the length of time that the great master Padmasambhava stayed in Tibet, but it is not possible to determine a single definitive answer. Because his emanations are inconceivable, it is fine no matter how it is done. Even in a short period of time, he went to all places, and in those places, he actually taught the Dharma, hid many treasures, went to various places, resided and departed from various practice places, etc. His activities were limitless, and it seems that there is no time to tell about them. Do not think that it is contradictory to believe that he stayed for only a short time or that he stayed for a long time, because such a great accomplished one who has attained union possesses limitless magical powers. During those times, he also invited from the noble land the spiritual friends of the teacher-kings, as well as the omniscient deities and the posture of generosity, such as the great upholders of the Vinaya who were diligent in their vows, as well as Vimalamitra and Shantigarbha, and many other Vajra holders, thereby truly establishing the teachings of Sutra and Tantra. Initially, in order to test whether Tibetans were capable of becoming monks, Ra Tridzi was ordained and fully ordained as a monk, and his name was Pal Yang.

He was also known as Sam Ra Ratna. Then, in succession, came Ra Salnang, Vairochana, Gyalwa Chokyang, Ra Rinchen Chok, and so on, six in total, who took ordination and were fully ordained. They changed their names to Yeshe Wangpo and others. Thus, the saying "The Six Awakened Men" arose. Afterwards, considering that ordination was possible in Tibet, about three hundred intelligent individuals were ordained. Ka Gok and others translated the Vinaya, the four divisions of the monastic code, and established the explanation and practice of the Sarvastivada school, laying the foundation for the teachings. Ra Ratna taught Sangye Yeshe, Kawa Wochok, and their abbot disciple Tsang Yo Serma. Later, these three, when Langdarma destroyed the Dharma, loaded a mule with a load of Vinaya and fled to Kham, where they practiced and resided in Ra Lung Anchung Namdzong, or Dantik Shelgiyi Yanggon. Later, Lama Rukla Bar requested ordination, and Serma acted as the abbot and Yo as the preceptor, ordaining him and giving him the name Shakya Gewa Rabsal. From this, ten people from U-Tsang came to Kham and received the lineage of full ordination by receiving three instructions in succession, which continues to this day. This is the reason why the practice and explanation lineage of the Vinaya has flourished. The upper and lower Abhidharma were translated and taught by Pandit Jinamitra and translator Kawa Pal Tsek, among others. They taught their disciples Sena Nam Zlawe Dorje, Lhalung Palgyi Dorje, and Wa Yeshe Gyalwa. The latter went to Kham and taught, and so on, and it is still very prosperous today. As for the Sutra Pitaka, the middle turning of the wheel, the Prajnaparamita section, such as Rang Khampa Gocha memorizing the Hundred Thousand Verses, all those who remained in India propagated it through translation, teaching, and listening. The later turning of the wheel, the Sutras, were also translated by Ka Gok and Vairo, and were established through teaching and listening. Most of the commentaries and treatises on these three Pitakas were also translated at that time. Relying on these, the tradition of both teaching and practice has continued to this day. As for the Secret Mantra, the Kriya, Charya, and Yoga Tantras were listened to and taught as appropriate. However, what was most propagated was the class of Anuttarayoga.

These are. Among the three, Generation Stage, Completion Stage, and Ultimate Stage, regarding the Generation Stage of Mahayoga, within the two categories of Tantra and Sadhana, the initial eighteen Great Tantras, which serve as the general framework or root of these, such as the Vajrasattva Magical Net Secret Essence, the Eight Classes of Magical Manifestations, were taught and translated by Master Vimalamitra to Rhuma Rinchen. Rhuma taught it to Tsugru Rinchen Zhonnu and Kyere Chokyong. These two in turn taught it to Zhang Gyalwai Yonten and Darje Palgyi Drakpa. The former of these two taught it many times in U-Tsang (Central Tibet) and also went to Kham (Eastern Tibet) to teach. The Zhang lineage is known as the Kama Chimpu or the Oral Transmission. Furthermore, Master Padmasambhava also taught it to Nyak Jñanakumara and revealed what is known as the Rosary of Oral Instructions and Views. Nyak taught it to Sogpo Palgyi Yeshe. He and Zhang together taught it to Nubchen Sangye Yeshe Rinpoche. Additionally, Master Sangye Sangwa taught the Magical Path or various manifestations, such as the Secret Essence, to Gangte Ser Dawa Jampal and Branka Mukti, among others. Similarly, the tradition of explanation of the Glorious Guhyasamaja, according to the system of Master Dorje Zhépa, and relying on the commentaries of Vishvamitra, the tradition of listening, teaching, and practice flourished. Relying on the texts and commentaries of the precepts of Sangye Nyamsjor Kukkuraja and Humkara, and the Nyamsjor Great Commentary of the Ugyen King Accomplisher Hundred Thousand Stalks, the tradition of teaching and practice flourished, and by bestowing the yidam based on the mandala of Heruka and Supreme Horse upon other fortunate individuals, the Emperor (Trisong Detsen) attained Hayagriva, and the sound of the horse was heard throughout Jambudvipa, and so forth. Secondly, regarding the Sadhana section, in general, the Yamantaka cycles were propagated in Tibet by Master Shantigarbha. The Amrita cycles were taught and propagated by Master Vimalamitra to Nyak Jñanakumara and others, while the others were mostly propagated and developed solely by Master Padmasambhava. In particular, after Emperor Trisong Detsen made a request, the eight ministers and subjects of glorious Chimpu, such as Dregu Gewur, who possessed excellent fortune, were empowered into the outer, inner, and secret mandalas of the eight great Sadhana sections.
