Turning the wheel of Dharma, displaying great miracles, and completely entering into Parinirvana, etc., are the ways of subduing through the great merit of the body. Because those sentient beings who directly witness these events possess immeasurable merit, it is said in this way. Secondly, subduing through the direct perception of the mind means that with the wisdom that is unattached and unobstructed to the three times, one enters into all knowable objects. Without discriminating the three times, one has the direct perception of knowing the times without any obscuration, the direct perception of knowing the minds of others without any concealment, the direct perception of the eye that completely sees everything, the direct perception of the ear that completely hears everything, the direct perception of performing rituals for the benefit of sentient beings, and the direct perception of the exhaustion of defilements that purifies obscurations. These six direct perceptions follow the mind, directly seeing all knowable objects and having mastery over them, thus subduing through the direct perception of the mind. Thirdly, subduing through inconceivable miracles means constantly benefiting sentient beings with an inconceivable body, an inconceivable speech, and an inconceivable secret of the mind. For example, appearing as Brahma and Ishvara to the gods, a universal monarch to humans, a weaver with a copper face to the asuras, a wooden horse carriage for birds, a lion king for wild animals, and the stable deity. Depending on the beings to be tamed, one manifests in forms similar to their kind. Furthermore, one manifests as teachers with peaceful, wrathful, or subtle faces, in accordance with their own appearances, and in accordance with their own capacities and inclinations, one manifests birth, migration, dwelling, going, coming, and so on, at uncertain times. This is the secret of the body. Teaching the Dharma in a way that is suitable to the intelligence and thoughts of the beings to be tamed, and making them understand through their own languages and symbols. As it is said in the Avatamsaka Sutra: "The language of gods, dragons, yakshas, rakshasas, and humans, and all the sounds of all beings, I teach the Dharma in all languages." This is the secret of speech. With the wisdom that is free from all defilements, one knows the minds of the beings to be tamed as they are, and enters into them in a completely harmonious way.

The secret of body, these three, are subdued by inconceivable miraculous powers. Fourth, subduing by the principle of speech: In accordance with the inclinations of the beings to be tamed of the five lineages, it is briefly shown through the five vehicles, and as an antidote to the eighty-four thousand afflictions, eighty-four thousand collections of teachings are spoken and extensively explained, and concluded with the order of the faculties, that is, everything also transcends the self-character of sound and words, but by the power of the blessing of the Thus-Gone One, in the realm of sentient beings, it can be understood in accordance with the respective awareness, which is subduing by the principle of speech. As it is said in the Sutra of Definitive Meaning: "All this that I have taught, not a single word or syllable has been taught." Thus it is said. Third, various manifestations: are the great basis for benefiting sentient beings, that is, the form body arising from such nature and action, as well as palaces, gardens, Gandhola, manifesting as cities on the plains of peace, wish-fulfilling trees, wish-fulfilling jewels, boats, bridges, vehicles, food, clothing, medicine, etc., inanimate objects, a great fisherman in times of famine, a life-giving creature for those suffering from illness, a well-understanding Balaha in the land of Rakshasas, golden bees in the mud, etc., showing various skillful and birth manifestations. As it is said in the Jewel Lamp Sutra: "They are poets, kings, poets combined, dancers, drummers, warriors and musicians, arranging beautiful decorations, holding garlands and dancing, illusionists, showing many forms everywhere, becoming villagers, village chiefs, helmsmen, likewise becoming merchants, captains, householders, kings, ministers, guides, messengers, and physicians, worldly treatises and ritualists, they become great trees in monasteries, and inexhaustible medicine and treasures, wish-fulfilling jewels, desire-producing trees, and become guides for those who are lost and tired." Thus, it is widely said, it should be known. In particular, in one aspect of the explanation of the uncommon manifestation body of Dzogchen, in the very nature of the complete enjoyment of appearance, manifesting the manifestation body in twelve places, showing twelve manifestations, that manifestation simultaneously the manifestation of body, speech, and mind.
