Not spoken, not uttered. The Buddhas do not speak, do not utter. The Buddhas will not speak, will not utter. The Buddhas do not fully awaken to enlightenment. The Buddhas have not fully awakened to any Dharma. The Buddhas have not abandoned afflictions. The Buddhas have not directly realized purity. The Buddhas have not seen, not heard, not tasted, not smelled, not touched, not known any Dharma. Why is that? Manjushri, all Dharmas are completely pure from the very beginning. Thus it is said. Lord Maitreya said: How it was before, so it is after, is the unchanging nature of Dharma. Thus it is said. Uncreated and spontaneously accomplished, not understood by other conditions. Thus it is said, as it is said, the nature of all Dharmas, or the reality, or the essence, or the Dharma nature, whatever it may be, is uncreated, not produced by causes and conditions, not dependent on others, not understood by other conditions, not abiding in the extremes of mental fabrication. The Noble The Great Vehicle Sutra of the Jewel Heap, in the chapter requested by Kashyapa, says: What is uncreated is the lineage of the Noble Ones. What is the lineage of the Noble Ones is that there is neither learning nor transcendence of learning. What is neither learning nor transcendence of learning is that there is neither going nor not going, nor going everywhere. What is neither going nor not going, nor going everywhere is that there is neither mind nor the Dharmas arising from mind. What is neither mind nor the Dharmas arising from mind is that there is neither karma nor the ripening of karma. What is neither karma nor the ripening of karma is that there is neither happiness nor suffering. What is neither happiness nor suffering is the lineage of the Noble Ones. What is the lineage of the Noble Ones is that there is neither karma nor the creation of karma. Thus it is said. The Great Vehicle Sutra of the Explanation of the Profound Meaning says: The Noble Ones, with the wisdom of the Noble Ones and the vision of the Noble Ones, manifestly

Because it is the one who attains complete Buddhahood, it is named 'Unconditioned' in order to realize that inexpressible reality. As stated in the Root Wisdom Treatise: 'It is not reasonable for self-nature to arise from causes and conditions. That which arises from causes and conditions becomes something made by self-nature. How can self-nature be called something made? Self-nature is uncreated and does not depend on others.' These extensive discussions clearly proclaim the sound of realizing the unconditioned wisdom that transcends causes and conditions, the ultimate view of the Great Perfection of the self-existing nature. Moreover, the way to establish that freedom from extremes is also stated: 'Those who regard self-nature as other entities, or who view existence and non-existence as dualistic, have not seen the true teaching of the Buddha.' Furthermore, the venerable Naropa also said in 'The Means of Accomplishing Suchness Called the Great Perfection Path': 'Buddhas and sentient beings are of one nature, this secret wisdom of the mind is extremely rare from the essential meaning. The spontaneously arisen great bliss is the self-existing body, the self-aware bliss is the Great Perfection, the compassion is the manifestation of the emanation body, the essence is unestablished, the secret mind, appearance and non-appearance are inseparable.' Similarly, regarding the way of not abiding in the lower stages of the path, it was mentioned earlier: 'In the essence of perfect wisdom, there is no gradual path, it has reached the end.' So, why is it necessary to teach those lower stages? This is because it is necessary to consider the faculties of the beings to be tamed, or because the lower stages can be used to tame the mind, and then gradually enter this path, or as a stepping stone to enter this path. Therefore, the essence or ultimate meaning of all the teachings of the Sugatas is the suchness of the innate wisdom of prajnaparamita. And to fully establish that suchness with self-awareness, there is no other way than the Great Perfection path. The three vows, the six perfections, the generation stage, and the completion stage, all of these are taught only as methods for realizing the Great Perfection and as resting places for going there. In the Secret Essence Tantra it says: 'The distinction of placing the grounds is also like that.'
