Within the mandala of bodhicitta, all dharmas are enlightened from the very beginning. As it is stated in the General Sutra, the Compendium of Intentions: Since all natures are one therein, It is naturally the great bliss of enlightenment. It is the essence of no birth and no cessation. The three mandalas are without action or agent. They are naturally accomplished, spontaneously perfect. Thus it is. Therein, the three kinds of mandalas are: All the dharmas of appearance, existence, samsara, and nirvana are gathered into the self-display of mind, and mind itself is unborn, free from all extremes of elaboration, the utterly pure space of the Mother Samantabhadrī, which is the mandala of suchness as it is from the beginning. That very thing, without ceasing from everything to everything, arises as unobstructed, impartial, all-pervasive self-appearance, which is the spontaneously perfect mandala of the self-existing wisdom nature of Samantabhadra. Those two, too, are inseparable in essence, abiding in union, which is the son, great bliss, inseparable from space and wisdom, the root mandala of bodhicitta. The basis to be realized and the path that realizes it are both summarized and explained in terms of the three yogas. As it is stated in the General Sutra, the Compendium of Intentions: Friends, what is the inconceivable aspect? Thus, the aspect of all inconceivable dharmas is completely connected by the three yogas. What are the three? They are the yoga of action, the yoga of action-doing, and the yoga of no action. Thus it is. Furthermore, in the Root Tantra, Kun-dus Rigpa, it is said that there are three yogas: the yoga of cause, the yoga of condition, and the yoga of result. The meaning of those two root and explanatory tantras is summarized and shown in the Summary of Meaning: Samantabhadra, with compassion for the sake of beings, manifests the three vehicles to tame them. Within the vehicle of definitive meaning, the meaning of the sutras and tantras that symbolize the secret gate should be known as threefold: action as cause, doing as condition, and the yoga of no-action as result. Thus it is taught as the root of all dharmas. As it is said, among the three, the yoga of action as cause, the yoga of doing as condition, and the yoga of no-action as result, the first is: The reality of all dharmas abides completely and unmixed in the nature of the three mandalas, and that itself is in that very thing,

Among the various distinctions within, all phenomena, the mind of enlightenment, naturally abides as it is. This is to be understood as the meaning of the tantras. Thus it is said. Secondly, the three vehicles of Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas, which, through the effort and action of the path, transcend existence and enter the state of peace as a result. As mentioned earlier, that vehicle which guides and leads through action with effort is the cause of action. Thus it is said. Thirdly, the nature of mind, being primordially and naturally pure, is free from the hope and doubt of striving and accomplishment in seeking results from elsewhere. This is the vehicle of outer, inner, and secret mantras. It is said in that very text: 'There is no hope for results elsewhere, the path abides in what is to be accomplished itself, this great skillful means vehicle is free from effort.' Thus it is said. Thus, the latter two yogas are called the common general path. Among them, the distinction of this path lies in what is said in that very text: 'Essence, skillful means, and wisdom.' That is to say, the definitive path of skillful means and the path of liberation through wisdom are determined as two. Firstly, how to cultivate the great bliss of unchanging supreme bliss, the wisdom of co-emergent bliss and emptiness? Through the meditation methods of the four chakras, the upper gate instructions for gradually guiding the co-emergent wisdom, and the lower gate instructions for instantly guiding the co-emergent wisdom based on the absorption of space and secrecy. As it is said in that text: 'Sugarcane of enjoyment, etc., enter there through skillful means of instructions.' Thus it is said. Secondly, continuing from the above, the way of hearing, thinking, and meditating, There are three ways to enter there: conceptualization, meaning, and literal meaning. As it is said, firstly, following conceptualization, the establishment of view must precede the path. That is to say, the characteristic of phenomena, on the meaning of what is to be known, through the reasoning of knowable wisdom, individually examining, the reality of all phenomena, the nature of reality as it is, the nature of the three mandalas, established in inexpressible thought, this is the tenet of this school. Secondly, following the meaning, abiding in the samadhi of non-conceptualization without characteristics. In the state of the nature of reality as it is, the mind of the meditator also abides in the same way. In the Gongdu it is said, as it is
