Yoga Tantra. The fourth in the age of strife is unsurpassed. Considering the four times, the tantra is taught in four ways. As it is said. Moreover, in order to subdue the disciples of the four classes of desire, the four tantras are taught, which are also included in this meaning, so there is no need to elaborate separately. Although there are many other necessities for distinction, that is enough. For the time being, the number of the four tantras is fixed, and the first three are the vehicle of asceticism and knowledge, or mainly show the external actions of body and speech, and the external actions and the inner mind are equally important, and the inner mind is mainly shown without abandoning the external actions, so they are established as the three external tantras in order, namely Kriya, Charya, and Yoga. These are also as stated in the commentary on the condensed meaning of the Hevajra: If the ability to meditate on Suchness is weak, those who are particularly fond of the behavior with characteristics are mainly shown those external behaviors, which is the Kriya Tantra. And, for those who are fond of the differences in behavior, and also practice the vast method of wisdom, and do not abandon the way of inner self-nature, it is the two-part tantra of Kriya and Yoga, which is the tantra of the two that are in harmony. And so on. And as stated in the commentary on the Manifest Enlightenment of Vairochana: Although the collection of the Noble One and others is mainly based on inner yoga, it is not without external behavior. As it is said. Therefore, "kṛyā" (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) means action, because it mainly shows the actions of body and speech. In terms of view, in the ultimate truth, from the purity of being free from the four extremes of elaboration, the merit of realizing the Suchness of the self, in the conventional truth, observing the completely pure characteristics of the deity, becomes a means of hoping for other siddhis and striving. As stated in the Stages of the Secret Path of the Buddha: Not knowing the two as inseparable, the ultimate pure nature of Dharma, wisdom and merit are conventional deities, alternately meditating on the place of action. Thus, meditation is the yoga of the three families of deities of conventional purity, namely the emptiness deity, the letter deity, the sound deity, the form deity, the mudra deity, and the sign deity. With the six deities, either clearly or unclearly visualizing oneself as the deity, inviting the wisdom deity.

, and pursuing accomplishments in the manner of master and servant. As it says in 'Self-Arisen': 'Gods and yogis, view them as master and servant.' In terms of conduct, pleasing the gods through austerities such as bathing, purification, and abiding in fasting, and abiding in accordance with vows. The reality of recitation is sound, mind, and focusing the mind on the ground. The reality of meditation is, as it is said: 'Secret mantras abiding in fire grant accomplishments, abiding in sound grants yoga, and the ultimate of sound grants liberation.' Thus, there are three. The result of making these the path is, temporarily, achieving the Vidyadhara Khechara, who has the same fortune as the desired deity, and relying on the proximate cause of practicing mantra conduct on that basis, ultimately manifesting the ground of the three families of Vajradhara spoken of here. As it says in 'Galpo': 'In seven lifetimes, one becomes a Buddha, the three families of protectors tame beings.' Thus it is said. The scriptures that teach these are the 'Brave Arm Tantra,' 'Tara Arising,' 'Three Vows Victorious,' and 'Subduing Spirits,' among others. From the perspective of family, there are six divisions: the Tathagata family, the Padma family, the Vajra family, the Ratna family, the Karma family, and the Worldly family. Each of these is further divided into the chief of the family, the lord, the mother, the crown, the wrathful deity, the wrathful mother, the messenger, the messenger mother, the male attendant, and the female attendant. If these are summarized, they can be grouped into secret mantras and knowledge mantras. The second is Upaya, which is practicing as if the view is yoga and the conduct is action, and is therefore called the equal division tantra or the combined two tantra, which is the combination of the two. As it says in 'Self-Arisen': 'Upaya is like this, the view is seeing yoga, the conduct is practicing action, therefore it is known as the tantra of both.' Thus it is said. Taking these views and practices as the basis, meditating through the yoga with signs, and meditating in a way that ascertains the letters, mudras, and deities of form, and through one-pointed practice, making samadhi stable. As it says in the 'Manifestation of Enlightenment': 'Letters combine with letters, likewise, ground becomes ground.'
