Although it is said that it is only Mind for the sake of the teachings, the Intermediate Mother Sutra states: "Maitreya, whatever is the form of complete imputation should be viewed as unreal. Whatever is the form of discrimination should be viewed as real because discrimination is real, but it is not autonomous. Whatever is the form of Dharma-nature is neither unreal nor real, but should be viewed as being thoroughly distinguished by ultimate truth." And so on. In the Condensed Meaning of the Eight Thousand Verses, it also says: "The Perfection of Wisdom truly relies on three teachings: imputation, other-power, and perfect completion. With words such as 'non-existent,' all imputations are prevented. With examples such as illusion, other-power is truly shown. With fourfold purification, perfect completion is thoroughly proclaimed. The Perfection of Wisdom has no other teachings from the Buddhas." And so on, the manner of the three natures is also extensively taught from the Intermediate Prajnaparamita Sutra. Similarly, in the Gateway to Entering the Three Bodies by the teacher Nagarjuna, it is summarized that the three natures are the cause for attaining the three bodies. In the commentary on that by the great Madhyamika Yeshe Zla-wa, it is also explained that it has the same meaning. Therefore, in all the great Madhyamika treatises, all the presentations of the three natures are said to be absent in the Madhyamika school and only present in the Mind-Only school, but those who say that have simply not seen those treatises. Furthermore, the Lankavatara Sutra states: "Relying on Mind-Only, one does not investigate external objects. Relying on non-appearance, one should transcend Mind-Only. Relying on the true object, one should transcend from non-appearance. When a yogi abides in non-appearance, he does not see the Great Vehicle." It is said that in some cases it is shown as Mind-Only, and then ultimately, having completely transcended from that, it shows the Madhyamika of non-appearance, and having transcended even from that, it shows the Madhyamika with appearance, and if one does not reach that, one will not see the profound meaning of the Great Vehicle. In general, it is also a mistake to say that everything mentioned with the word "mind" is Mind-Only. Because suchness, the ultimate reality, nirvana by nature, the sphere of Dharma, the mind of clear light, Samantabhadra,

There are instances where the term "mind" is used to indicate a state that is free from all limitations, such as the intention of the virtuous. As stated in the Extensive Mother Sutra: "Subhuti, this mind is not mind, for the nature of mind is luminosity." Here, the luminous nature of mind, which transcends the mind of samsara and its mental factors, is being discussed. It should not be mistaken for mere mind that is not separate from consciousness. The characteristic of the latter is described in the sutra: "Connected with the habitual tendencies of discrimination, various mental events arise, and external appearances manifest to people; this is the mere mind of worldly beings." Thus, the difference between the mere mind of the world and that beyond the world is the same as the difference between consciousness and wisdom mentioned earlier. Similarly, the meaning of mind, which is expressed by other names in the profound Mahayana scriptures, should also be understood in the same way. Moreover, the realm of non-leakage, the inconceivable realm, ultimate virtue, the unchanging and stable nature of reality, the truth as the ultimate reality, the body that is primordially liberated, being free from all elaborations of the four extremes, abandoning the two selves, and so on—the collection of qualities that are inseparable from the Dharmakaya of the Great Sage, exceeding the sands of the Ganges—are also vastly different from the mere mind proponents of the world because they spontaneously exist far beyond the phenomena of consciousness. In general, wise individuals who are impartial and serve as a measure consider that both systems of emptiness reside in Madhyamaka, which is the pinnacle of the four tenet systems based on their respective chariot traditions, without any difference. Because in both cases, there is no difference between existence and true existence. The great teachers Nagarjuna and Asanga, who were prophesied by the Buddhas to explain the definitive meaning, clarified this through their respective treatises. In accordance with this, omniscient beings of the time of strife, such as Ratnakarashanti, Kalyanakirti, Suvarnadvipa, and Atisha, also stated this. The teacher Simhabhadra also acknowledged this view. When he explained the meaning of the Ornament Sutra, he said that the unique non-dual wisdom is the essence of true existence.
