It is said so in order to transform it into transcendental virtue, or to increase the inexhaustible virtue that will not be exhausted or destroyed by other causes. Third, there are two divisions: the first of the two divisions, completely impure and pure, comes from the Mother Sutra: If a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, when practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, completely understands those roots of virtue of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, in terms of characteristics, then it is not a dedication to the unexcelled, perfect and complete enlightenment. All those past Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are also not characteristics, not the realm of characteristics. If one thinks like that, it is still clinging to characteristics, and it is not dedicating those roots of virtue to the unexcelled, perfect and complete enlightenment. In that case, his perception will be reversed, his mind will be reversed, and his view will be reversed. Just as the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the perfectly enlightened Buddhas, have not said that the dedication with the perception of an object and the perception of characteristics is of great benefit. Why is that? Because that dedication is poisonous, thorny. For example, if there is good food, perfect in color, perfect in smell, but if it is mixed with poison, even if the color, smell, and taste are pleasing, it will ultimately be poisonous. In this situation, a person with a childish mentality, a person with unsound wisdom, will want to eat it. Even if he hears these things, he will still feel that the color, smell, and taste are delicious, but it will ultimately lead to suffering and the ripening of suffering. Similarly, for those who misunderstand, misperceive, and mislearn and cannot comprehend the meaning, they will teach like this: Son of good family, you, from the initial generation of the mind of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, future, and present, up to the roots of virtue that have arisen, are arising, and will arise in the continuum of sentient beings, gather all those roots of virtue together, reduce them to one, and measure them.

, may it be completely dedicated to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. This shows that. If one dedicates completely with the aspect of signs and the aspect of clinging, it will become poison. For example, just like poisonous food, there is no complete dedication for those who have clinging conceptions. Why is that? Because clinging is accompanied by poison, accompanied by signs, accompanied by cause, accompanied by conditions. If one dedicates completely in that way, it will be slandering the Tathagata. It is also not speaking as the Tathagata spoke, nor is it speaking according to the Dharma. Thus it is said. In the verses of the Compendium, it is also said: If there is no sign, it is the dedication of Bodhi. How is it like eating good food mixed with poison? The Victorious Ones say that clinging to white Dharma is also like that. And so on, it is said. Wherever the object of dedication is, whatever the object of dedication is, and whoever the agent of dedication is, if one dedicates by clinging to the characteristics of the three spheres, that is impure. Secondly, the completely pure dedication is the dedication without clinging to the three spheres. So, how is the way of not clinging to the three understood? In the Sutra Requested by Sagaramati, it says: That which has no conception of being a Buddha, no conception of being a self, and no conception of being the teaching of prophecy, this is called the complete purification of the three spheres. Sagaramati, furthermore, what is the complete purification of the three spheres? That which has no clinging to self, no clinging to sentient beings, and no clinging to Dharma. Furthermore, the complete purification of the three spheres is that which has no clinging to name, no clinging to form, and no clinging to object. Furthermore, the three spheres Complete purification is knowing that the past is exhausted, knowing that the future has not arrived, and knowing that the present occurrence is without abiding. Furthermore, the complete purification of the three spheres is knowing the body as like a reflection, knowing speech as like an echo, and knowing the mind as like an illusion. Furthermore, the complete purification of the three spheres is knowing the aggregates as the aggregates of Dharma and equality, knowing the realms as the sphere of Dharma and equality, and knowing the sources
