It is not enough for one person to die; all his relatives will suffer. Even to enemies, one should not use magic, but rather generate compassion. Saying this, he especially accepted the conduct of a Bodhisattva. His vow not to use magic and miraculous powers for his own sake was extremely firm. In terms of engaging with the realm of compassion, he even liberated the three lower realms with compassion. This is what the great Guru manifested: he killed the karmic body, the aggregate of the five poisons. He nourished the consciousness in the expanse of Dharma-nature, making samsara finite. Among killing and saving, this is also a great wonder. When the Nepalese Bharo was about to return, he offered sixty measures of gold, requesting that there be no obstacles to his return to India and Nepal. Then, mixing the gold with ashes, he performed a fire offering. The knot of miserliness was completely untied from its root. This path is a wonderful act showing belief in the existence of the Three Jewels. Even those who are accustomed to giving, although they do not outwardly show any hesitation in giving away material possessions with the Three Jewels as their object, it seems that they still take delight in the aspect of virtue that appears as something real, which is somewhat unsatisfactory. There, Bharo threw the ashes of the fire offering into the water without regret. A food-giver came on the road. As instructed, "Take it as your own," a girl gave a handful of millet. When it was offered to the Guru, he said, "Use it to dye the cloth." Later, when Bharo was about to return to India, the Guru escorted him, and he offered three more measures of gold. Then, the Guru said, "If burning in fire pleases the Dakinis, then scattering in water will please them even more." Saying this, he scattered the gold in the water. Padma Wangchen, who became a holy son, and Nyima Ozer, born in Nyal, and other descendants, as well as nine worthy disciples, were all brought to maturity and liberation. Great lamas and great people, such as Chu Shyal Gur Sum, relied on him. Mainly, he performed activities with Mani alone, planting vast seeds of liberation throughout Tibet. In particular, from Kathokpa Drubthob Mani Rinchen, the activities of great compassion widely spread in Kham. The sons of Indra and the sun and moon gods also made offerings and praises. All the gods and demons of Tibet revered him as a lama.
