Regarding the three, Sutra, Illusion, and Mind, there are their own unique traditions of explanation. He was skilled in the Eight Commands and Nine Successive Stages of Kagyé, the Four Branches of Nyingthig, and the Upper and Lower Treasures, etc. His activities of teaching and practice were extremely vast, and following the tradition of Ngari Panchen Rinpoche, he practiced with the Kama as the main focus and the instructions of the Treasure teachings as the adornment. He taught the cycles of illusion to Rangdrol Nyida Sangye. He taught it to the Khon lineage's master, Tsewang Norgye, who in turn taught it to his own son, Khontön Paljor Lhündrup. This lord was born as the son of his father, the master, and his mother, Gyalmo Dzom, in the Iron Bird year. From a young age, he awakened the imprints of holiness and developed a genuine mind of renunciation. At the age of ten, he was ordained by the all-knowing Sönam Gyatso. He received the refuge vows, the generation of bodhicitta, and the meditation transmission of Great Compassion, etc. He also received all kinds of Dharma teachings from several old and new lamas. He also thoroughly studied grammar, poetry, composition, and medicine. In particular, from his father, the Vajra Holder, he received the Guhyagarbha Tantra and its commentary by Yungtön, as well as the commentaries on the cycles of illusion, such as the Kunchen Longchenpa's Dispelling Darkness in the Ten Directions. Through diligent study, he awakened the imprints of great diligence and became an unrivaled scholar and accomplished practitioner relying on this path. At the age of eighteen, he received the empowerments, transmissions, and instructions of Dzogchen Longsal Nyingthig from the great vidyadhara Nyida Sangye, the emanation of Nub Namkhai Nyingpo, and thus realized the true nature of all phenomena, the Great Perfection, the self-aware Dharmakaya, and reached the ultimate depth. In addition, he received a vast amount of Kama and Treasure teachings. In particular, he received the explanations and transmissions of Döntik Drowa Kundrol and Thekchok Rinpoche's Dzö.

I, the Dharma Lord Gedun Gyaltsen, after receiving the full ordination from the Khenpo and Acharya, was given the name Paldjor Lhundrup. I also listened to the mantra cycles of the Gelug school. I also served as a teaching and debating master of Sera Je and Sangpu. Regarding the Guhyagarbha Tantra, the tradition of explanation was very prevalent in the past, but later it became weak, because this Dharma Lord was famous for his great knowledge. Drakna Dharma Lord Orgyen Tenzin came specifically and listened in detail from the Yungdrung commentary, and also made notes up to the fifth chapter. In particular, Zurchung's protector, Choying Rangdrol, was taken as a disciple, and he listened to two Dharma sessions each day from the Guhyagarbha Tantra Yungdrung commentary, and also listened to limitless cycles of Nyingthig and so on. According to the Dharma Lord's teachings, Zurchung established a great Dharma college in Tses and established the system of debate, so those who were jealous and thought that the Nyingma school had no tantric explanations were silenced. From this point on, he abandoned the distractions of worldly affairs and stayed in seclusion in the forests of Diwi Goti or Pawangka. The great Fifth Dalai Lama also personally visited and listened to limitless cycles of empowerments, transmissions, instructions, and pith instructions of the new and old schools. Some great lamas say that only those who are not influenced by dry scholars of religious philosophy and are taken by qualified virtuous friends can be called pure religious philosophers. Then, at the age of seventy-six, the Great Fifth Dalai Lama made a long life prayer for him, but he did not accept, saying that he did not know how long he would live, and that he had to go to the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain Lotus Light Palace. On the eleventh day of the eighth month of the Fire Ox year, with wondrous signs, his physical body dissolved into the Dharmadhatu. The treatises composed by this Dharma Lord also include a guide that introduces the views of Mahamudra, Dzogchen, and Madhyamaka in general, as well as guides to Madhyamaka views and many works on epistemology. The heart son and disciple of that Dharma Lord is Zurchung Choying Rangdrol, who is from the unbroken lineage of the Zhur Vidyadhara lineage, the emanation of the father, the great Vidyadhara Kumararaja, Zurchung Zhonnu Dondrup, and the mother, a Dakini.
