He said, "Send hailstones to the center of this lake and this plain." Gha-ra sent hailstones there, so he believed. He became afraid of the mantra practitioners and gave a great reward. It is said that this person was a disciple of Tshal and had obtained the power of Yama. That was also true. The ultimate practice of fierce mantras was obtained from Zurpa. There, Pakshi Shakya-od sent a person named Tönpa Rahu, who met with Gha-ra and gave a good offering. In the title of the treasure record of Lord Nyang, it is written: "In the land of Tsang, at the rock Vajra Longevity, there is a treasure of longevity water." This was entrusted to Tönpa Rahu, who was instructed to offer it to Lama Shakya-od. Coincidentally, Sechin Khan issued an order: "Recite to Shakya-od and Shakya Gonpo, and do whatever rituals are needed. When the longevity water appears, send it to us. That will bring merit. I know your joys and sorrows. There is one silver tre in the mixture of torma flour." A golden letter of action appeared. There, a grand ritual was performed. The emperor was very pleased. The writer of the golden letter was just tired because of his impatience. In the lineage of illusion, on the night of making the prayer of the three, sound, light, and rays, a clear prophecy of the treasure door was obtained. Then, Zur Shakya-od, Guru Khyun Drak, Great Official Shaka Zang, and the writer of the golden letter, Aga Yan, gathered together to open the treasure. At the treasure door, a wheel of sharp razors was spinning, making it impossible to enter. There, Zur Shakya-od requested an impartial witness and made offerings to the treasure lord. The razors returned to their original position, and everyone was amazed. From the treasure pit, in the middle of scattered coal, a frog with its eyes and mouth wide open, its hands raised, was seen. As soon as it was seen, a whirlwind of wind arose, and everyone was astonished. The lama pressed down with a rosary of rakshas, and by discerning the truth, the whirlwind of wind subsided. When the silk cover was removed, inside three conjoined copper amulets, male and female skulls were joined together, and inside was hail. As soon as it was touched, it turned to dust. A horse-pig union image wrapped in many silks, Vajrasattva father and mother, in the center of thirteen practice method scrolls, was a container of longevity water, a largest lapis lazuli ink bottle, and tsampa appeared, which amazed everyone. If the lama had taken the first portion, he would have lived to be a hundred years old, but scraping it off his tongue with a spoon, the auspicious connection was broken.

He was taken to China, tormented by many lice, with diligence in not sleeping. It is said that King Sechen Khan offered him sustenance, causing him to live to be a hundred years old. As a reward for this, he received an edict exempting all mantra practitioners in U-Tsang from taxes and military service. Because he did the same deeds as the emperor's lamas, he was given the title "Bashir." As an offering for longevity, he was offered the land of forty-five households of Span-Hor. He intended to build a great monastery on the mountain of Me-dril, but because there was a great city of nagas, the nagas made a request. Because it was at the lake of Gya-gen's Thad-tsho, it was offered in its place, and the nagas, through their magical power, caused it to dry up, and there he established a great community of mantra practitioners. He practiced single-pointedly at the center of Khar Dorje-drag, and passed away at the age of sixty-three. By touching his remains, leprosy was cured. His disciple was Ta-nag Dud-dul. He passed it on to Da Shakya-pel. From him, Zur Jambe Sengge heard it. His father was Zur Nyima Sengge, who was the son of the ancestor Bashir. He was ordained at Tro-phu. Trolo Jambe Pel gave him the novice vows. He possessed many qualities. In particular, because the root of bodhicitta was firm, during the time of the Hor army, the great minister Sambata offered him much gold, but he replied, "I do not want gold, I request that you give the gift of fearlessness." Thus, he saved the lives of many beings. When building the great stupa of Tro-phu, because water was very scarce, he brought down a great rainstorm through his magical power. When Upper Hor began to severely persecute the Sakya teachings, according to the command of the emperor-patron, and the decree of the great minister Kun-kyon, he, through the power of fierce action, cut off the life-force of three hundred thousand soldiers in Gang-drag, thus leaving a particularly great mark on the Sakya teachings. He built the supports and supported objects of body, speech, and mind of Bar-ga Lhakhang, and in short, he made a great contribution to the cause of the teachings and beings, he was his son. Therefore, Zur Jambe Sengge, due to the awakening of the Mahayana lineage, had great compassion from childhood. If he saw others harming sentient beings, he would feel very sad. He was ordained at Tro-phu, and thus received that name. He was learned in the philosophy of characteristics and the teachings of Tro-phu, and began to teach at the age of fourteen, thus gaining a reputation as a scholar. Yungton Dorje Pel also said, "My lama is Zur-chen-po (Zur Omniscient)."
