I. There, when the Do Gong Dü (mdo dgongs 'dus) was taught, three hundred copies were produced at one time. At that time, the lama greatly praised Zur Chungpa. Some people showed a little disrespect, saying that the lama was praising the status of officials. Knowing that slandering the lama would bring great negative karma, one day, when the master and disciples went to a place called E Mar Dorje Po for Dharma teachings, there was a dead female dog in an alley, its corpse rotting and infested with maggots. Lama Zur Chenpa only touched it gently. Zur Chungpa killed the dead female dog and ate the maggots. The others said, "Such a madman like Zur Chungpa has been appointed as a lecturer. The patrons will also lose faith." The lama said, "I also know that these dogs will fall into the lower realms, but I am unable to liberate them. His liberation is amazing." At that moment, Zur Chungpa made a gesture, and all the dog corpses turned into offering goddesses. He vomited out the maggots, and the maggots made a "cho dir dir" sound in the sky. Zur Chenpa said, "Are you amazed now?" They said, "It's just an illusion." At that time, the Shang Chu River was flooded, and Zur Chenpa miraculously threw a Kapala across the river, saying, "Whoever can get it will be my successor." The other three high lamas could not get it. Zur Chungpa went and got it without getting his feet wet. Later, they were asked to compete in the power of the wind. The other four high lamas, etc., were also able to walk without touching the ground, but Zur Chungpa rose into the air, about the height of a palm tree, and was the first to enter the Srampa hermitage, and the other three high lamas also gained certainty because of this. He followed the lama's instructions and completed the service. After a while, Zur Chungpa received three prophecies about the place. Because this yogi who realized emptiness was not attached, he discarded these prophecies as illusions. Finally, a sixteen-year-old girl adorned with bone ornaments, holding a hand drum (Ḍāmaru), appeared dancing five kinds of dances, saying, "Brother, if you practice on the Nine Peaks Mountain (Ribo Gu-du), you will achieve the two benefits." She pointed to the Brag Gyapo rock, and there appeared the Nine Peaks Mountain (Ribo Gu-du), the Nine-Eyed Spring (Chu-mig Gu-du), and the Nine Hermitages (Ne-sing Gu-du), symbolizing the completion of the nine successive vehicles.

Knowing this, that Rock Gyapo mountain is like being surrounded by the eight great glorious Gauris, so if one practices there, accomplishment is swift and blessings are great. In general, samsara is of the nature of suffering, so one must sever worldly attachments. Clamor and greed are of no benefit for accomplishing the benefit of future lives. Protecting people's faces is difficult to do immediately and ultimately meaningless, so I will practice alone, he said. Having entrusted the monastery to three monks who did not understand, he said, "You must uphold the doctrine of teaching and learning!" and then went to Rock Gyapo. Having gone there, he stayed only in practice, so the local deities' manifestations and miracles were very great. Thus, great hosts of accomplished ones, in dreams and appearances, were of one taste in the state of falsity, so one night in a dream, a black man appeared on the summit of Rock Gyapo, gathered him up from his two feet, wrapped him around his head, and threw him down. He dreamed that he was smashed on a great plain at the end of Tag Valley. When he awoke, he was actually in the middle of the plain, so he had to climb up, and he stayed without fearing the great miracles. Also, sins as small as hairs filled the practice room, so the realization of reflecting on cause and effect manifested. At the same time as grasping the two horns of sin and splitting it in half, he confessed each sin and non-virtue separately. He said, "Do not rely on meaning, but rely on words," and jokingly threw them away, and everything became Vairochana and rose into the sky. Again, once an army of ants was brought forth. He said to the attendant, "Bring garlic." The attendant struck the ants with garlic. The attendant felt ashamed and said, "Please consider the sins!" He said, "If you do not believe it, do it like this." Then he put the ants in his mouth and blew on them, and everything became Vajrasattva, standing upright, and went into the sky, so the attendant was very devoted. The miracles of killing and saving were inconceivable, so he bound the three local deity siblings by oath, and they actually showed their forms and took his feet on their heads. The groove where the stake was driven into the rock is still there today. There, he practiced the mudra meditation that arose from the secret illusion, and he saw the face of Vajrasattva. Tag Valley was filled with Vajrasattva. Because he attained the birthplace of the exhaustion of appearances, his body turned into fire, and water.
