arose and had no essence. Here, I, Nub's little monk Sangye, am one hundred and thirty years old. This is not a final testament, but a timely extension of meaning. Therefore, he obtained the mastery of the science of life. He seems to have lived until the time of the lord Pal Khor Tsen. His father was Wangchuk of the illustrious Nub clan, and his mother was Chimmo Tashi Tso, who gave birth to a son named Dorje Tritsuk. At the age of seven, he learned writing and reading from O'dren Palgyi Zhonnu. He was ordained by Khenpo Bodhisattva. He met Acharya Vasudhara in Samye and offered three gold srangs, and heard some instructions. Before leaving, the Acharya granted him permission to go to Nepal again, so from a young age he had the idea of going to India and Nepal. It is said that he went to India seven times in total, the first time being at the age of thirteen. He received empowerment in the mandala of the Eight Great Herukas from the feet of the great teacher Padmasambhava and attained accomplishment. After a while, he sold his estate and received fifty zho of gold, which he took to India and Nepal. From Acharya Vasudhara, he heard many tantras and instructions. He also relied on Khenpo Chokyi Kyong of Do Lung and Rambuguya, the master of fierce mantras. He relied on many scholars in India, Nepal, and the land of Brusha. In India, he heard some Do Lung from Khenpo Chokyi Kyong, and in particular, he learned the entire Do Gongpa Dudpa from Khenpo Che Tsenkye of Brusha. In Samye, he was among the great translators and also translated the sacred Dharma. He intended to rely solely on solitude, but in general, at this time, the royal law was broken and sectarian strife was rampant, so Nubchen and his son suffered great hardships. In particular, in his previous life, he was born in India as a butcher named Marutse, and he completed the remaining taming activities for the benefit of sentient beings. Furthermore, since it was predicted that the teachings of the nephew would decline in Tibet, in order to subdue those who harm the Dharma from beginning to end through fierce mantras, and in order to protect the Dharma, he was urged by the activities of the Buddhas, as well as various external factors and local arrogance.
