Because of his extreme love for fish and other weak sentient beings, he had no attachment to his possessions. Therefore, he established mountain bans, road bans, and water bans, etc., to bring them peace and happiness. Wherever he resided, all the villages were free from hailstorms, plagues, and other disasters, and he single-mindedly benefited all beings. He was able to establish and teach the unique Nyingtik teachings of the Completion Stage, and he had a mole in the shape of the letter "A" (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) on his forehead. The mantra masters, planets, and oath-bound protectors all listened to his commands, just as people talk to each other. He knew the thoughts of those to be tamed through clairvoyance, and he was skilled in taming them. He was able to bless the minds of others, and special signs of past lives appeared to all the fortunate ones he embraced. It is said that these were manifestations of the body of the master Vimalamitra. In the Root Tantra, he was also prophesied to be the monk Palden. In this way, during his inconceivable activities for the benefit of beings, on the twenty-fifth day of the middle autumn month of the Water Sheep year (1343), he passed away amidst wondrous signs of sounds, lights, and tents. The attendants, such as Gomdar, who were by his side, prayed with great devotion, and the master rose again, sat in the lotus position, and said with a smile, "Do not grieve, I am not dead." He then gave various instructions. He extended his life for another thirteen days. Then (the disciples) asked, "What should we do after the seventh day when you pass away? Should we invite the omniscient lama?" The master said, "Do not trouble them. If there are still any unresolved questions about the Dharma, go there. I have given many instructions before, do not talk nonsense." The master sat in the posture of a hermit, with the gaze of the Dharmakaya, and smiled. At dawn on the eighth day, he passed away in the primordial city of Ghanaba. On the twenty-fifth day, the cremation took place, and the skull remained intact. Inside it appeared a mandala of the five Buddha families, and above the right ear appeared a blue image of the Holy Tara. Five kinds of relics and relic particles appeared, and a rainbow tent surrounded the area. Regarding this, Karma Pakshi Rangjung Dorje said: "Avalokiteshvara himself has truly come to this world."
