Going upwards, it is said that a teacher named Sba Gom was very generous in giving food. When I arrived, some yogis had also arrived and were warming themselves. They were also given a small pot of roasted barley flour. After giving to them, (the teacher) said, "There is also a new young man here." Then he had him fetch a full pot of water. After sprinkling the water, he led him to the small cave Zura. He gave him a bowl of tsampa. That night he also gave him food, and they slept together on a single straw mat. The next morning, just as he was thinking of leaving, he gave him food again and said, "I have a close attendant monk who went to Zotang to get gold, but he couldn't return because of the heavy rain. You go and cut down a tree." So, From the forest, he carried a large tree. Sba Gom was pleased and taught the pith instructions of Mahamudra and the 'Seven Self-Existing Limbs of the Great Perfection.' There he also became an attendant. Because we hadn't arrived, the teacher was worried and said, "You have blocked the way, stay for a few more days." He went around Yarlung (now Shannan Prefecture, Tibet) once more and returned. There, realizing that Sba Gom was a special person, he did not return to his hometown, but begged for alms in Ön (now Douyu Township, Longzi County, Shannan Prefecture, Tibet) and Sangri (now Sangri County, Shannan Prefecture, Tibet). He bought a sack. Then he offered the sack full of barley to the teacher Sba Gom. The teacher said, "You have served me, that's enough. Use this as your own provisions. I have a pith instruction called Vajra Bridge, which allows one to realize the meaning in an instant, and a lineage of attaining Buddhahood in one lifetime and one body without residue, which has never been interrupted. Until now, I have not spoken of it to anyone, but now I will give it to you." Then he insisted on offering it, saying, "This is dedicated to the teacher himself, please keep all the teachings in mind. I will go and find provisions." Then (the teacher) held the top of his head with his left hand and patted the back of his neck with his right hand, saying, "Oh, he is a keeper of vows, this teaching will benefit you." There, he gave a young mantra practitioner a sadhana of Red Yamari (Sanskrit: Yamāntaka, यामान्तक, yamāntaka, Destroyer of Yama), and as a result, the barley grew to eight sacks. By doing a little exorcism and protection, he found enough resources for practice. There, without gathering the necessary equipment for a feast, he requested the blessing of the Vajra Bridge. The teacher said, "Give the blessing now, there will be obstacles later." He went to Gamba (now Gamba County, Shigatse Prefecture, Tibet) to ask a friend for the money for a pen that he had left there, and he received a coarse woolen skirt. That's

He sold the coarse cloth after separating the pieces. By relying on the essence of chang, torma, and the five kinds of grain made into a single embodiment of flesh, he said, "Use the daytime as a substitute for lamps," and then completely bestowed the four empowerments of the path of liberation. He gave all the instructions without exception. Afterwards, he also bestowed blessings about four times. He offered barley and gold and other offerings five times. Once, he said, "All these appearances are of the nature of falsehood," and struck a stone in the water with his staff, causing it to sink up to his elbow. Again, by the act of projecting his body outward, he left an imprint on the rock, leaving a clear trace. From the small cave, he bent many juniper tree trunks with his gaze. He said that it was the wood for the Jomo's temple. From such a teacher, he obtained all the instructions on the Vajra Bridge, and also obtained the stages of the path of the Paramita of Jowoje. Similarly, he taught the six yogas to Yumo. He taught the eight sections to Khampa Lungpa. He taught the three contemplations to the students of Ne'u Zurpa. He taught the small commentary to Shobu Lotsawa. He asked Geshe Drolgom for the methods of Naropa, and in turn taught the Vajra Bridge. He taught the lamp transformation and the back support to So Nyun Dang. He taught the three drops of nectar to Dzaborwa. He taught the three words of the ear-whispered lineage to Ritro Lungchung. He taught the Doha instructions to Lung Ngam Chenpo. He taught Chod to Labdron. He taught the seven sections to Gyalwa Boton. He heard the fifteen Kriya teachings of Bariwa to Nub Shangchen. He heard many various instructions taught to Dingri Kundga and so on. He asked Dagpo Lhaje for the six dharmas and the union of birth. He was very pleased by comparing the experiences of realization. Because he practiced in the monastery of the Yogi in front of the eyes, he was known as an ascetic. His friends were also all masters of yoga from Dezana, such as Acharya with a tiger skin skirt, Lama U'drenpa, Lama Tukha Obar, Lama Drodjor, and Zhang Dro Jyon. He lived naked in Tsang for five years. Furthermore, the hailstones falling on the appearances were very large, so in winter he slept in a cold room, in summer in the middle of the river, jumping into uncertain deep ravines, hitting his head, striking with weapons, and so on. Because it was impossible not to do fierce actions, he was known as the hero Dzengchung. He bestowed the Great Seal on So Mangtsen, transforming illusory appearances into wisdom.
